It's been a rough couple days w/ my 3 month old DD. I'm hoping tonight to tackle this challenge! Thanks Kimberly! And thanks for bumping it a couple times Emily! Consider it bumped once again! =)

I am still two behind but with the boys and I being sick all week... oh well.. I will get to them though! I have printed out the sketches so I know what I need to do! LOL
Okay Kimberly - you made me work waaay too hard!
This page was a struggle from beginning to end! I could not find pictures that were small enough to be put on tags... I looked and I looked! So then I decided to try to follow the basic layout of one pic on top and four on bottom... again... no luck - so I did the three on bottom. That was hard though because I didn't know which family members to put where! :? FINALLY, I figured out the layout - but then the colors - holy moly. I can usually pick one color that seems common throughout all the pics... not this time! So I decided to highlight Lauren's pics that are on top... after all it's "About Her", right? Which leads me to the title... I himmed and hawed over that forever too! "All About Lauren"; "Everyone Loves Lauren" (but didn't want to sound like that TV show!); "Loving Hands Holding Lauren"; on and on... I ended up with a safe one, I think!! Then my notched corner punch was giving me trouble. Then just when I thought I was done I felt like it needed something more... so I added the three strips of ribbon... which didn't come out completely straight or spaced perfectly (can you tell I tend to be Type A)? The colors really stressed me out - I even turned to my color coach... it suggested Sage Shadow instead of Mellow Moss... so I tried it and hated it. The stamps? Well, at least that was somewhat easy - Lauren's outfit had flowers on it that look remarkably similar to the Love w/o End flower and she had ladybugs on it and I have only one stamp (that I know of) with ladybugs... so that was somewhat easy!
BUT IT'S DONE! Whew! And then it was 12:30 in the morning & I made myself go to bed w/out uploading and then baby Lauren woke up at 1:00... but that's another story!
And that's the story of these pages! Thanks for asking! (hehe! Nobody asked...)
Can't play yet but soon so I'll bump too. Emily- why are you packing?? You still have 7 days!
HA!!! I am so anal it's killing me to not have it done already! My dh leaves to go to Texas (he won';t be here for the actual move because he has to start his new job) on Wed am so I want as much as possible done before he leaves.

OOOHH! I can't believe I forgot to get on last night and get this, but I had my monthly stamp club yesterday and it was great. We had a 500 dollar day, so I was EXHAUSTED when I was done and just crashed. I'll see if I can get on it tonight.... as well as 2 weeks of technique challenges.
OOOHHH! I'm so frustrated. I worked for 2 hours last night on this layout and I realized that I wanted to use copper accessories. I wanted some copper brads, so I went to scrap store today and they had the brads but NOTHING ELSE. No letters. No little plaques. No Buttons. Not even some copper tags. I have the stampin up ones with white paper but I thought some velum would be good.
Well, short of searching all over town with 2 fussy kids and forcing myself into Craft Warehouse which I'm currently swearing off because they FRUSTRATE me so bad when I go in there.... I decided to buy a couple of silver colored letters and emboss over them with copper EP. And I remembered that I have some metal tags that I could emboss onto and then stamp into. All was well.
So I went over to my sisters house to get the copper EP which I knew to be there only to find out WE SOLD IT in our last yard sale with intentions of order Stampin Up but our good intentions got waylaid and now I don't have copper. I have an order going in on Friday, but then it won't be here to some time next week and I NEED the copper to finish the page.
So, to make an excessively long story short, I'm gonna go in and find some OTHER pictures to scrap and hopefully have something to post before next year. LOL
Geez, the troubles I put myself through for my art. On the up side, I found a copy of Becky Higgin's Sketch's Idea book on the 40% off table because it had a couple of scratches on the cover. Well, for that price, I don't really care if the cover is mangled. So the scrap store is redeemed in my eyes.
Well, I'm not super happy with this one, but it is done. The other one, the one I have to wait for copper ep for, will be much nicer, but not done til middle to end of next week, depending on how fast mr. brown flies to my door.
I used LA transfer from technques junky newsletter to do the background of the matte of photo. I just got it in the mail and am eager to try out the techniques. Unfortunately, once I did the technique (which looked really cool) I couldn't figure out how to do the rest. I was just stumped. And I think I rushed it. Sometimes it's best to leave things on the drawing board for a while. Well, I do like the sketch though. It is cute with the little tags at the bottom.
Location: I'm in the secret sister protection program.

Here's mine...finally. It's a little tweaked because I'm working on a special Disneyland album for my MIL from 9 years ago  when she took my oldest son to Disneyland. I'm using CM's 7x7 Disney album, so it has limited my creativity. I need to get this done in a week, so hopefully I'll be done before next week's challenge!
Well, after much ado, the desired copper EP appeared in the box from stampin up and the printer got hooked up and here it is, the submission I started for this challenge a couple of weeks ago. It is an 8 1/2 x 11 landscape style layout because I bought one of those new landscape albums for my 2005 family album. Here it is:
