Does anyone know where I can find cheap adhesive? I have been doing alot of swaps and am going through it like mad. Is there some place you can buy it from in bulk?
I'm a mono multi fan as well--check it out at www.scrapbookpal.com --they have superfast shipping and great prices (it cost me half of what they charge at the local craft store!).
I use Scotch Quick-Dry Tacky Adhesive by 3M found at Target. One small bottle will make about 150 cards and you have to use a crowbar to take the card apart!! Love it!!

I also use the scotch quick dry. I like the Mono but it never drys completely. In other words, if you get it on anything else, like your work space, it always stays tacky.

if you are AdTech brand adhesive from walmart - it is back in the scrapbooking/stamping section. everybody in my stampin' club uses it and we all think it is just awesome. hth
the first portion of my reply was supposed to say "if you are looking for some really good and really cheap adhesive - try......" i don't know what the heck happened, but part of my words are missing LOL
mono multi here, but also use scotch double sided tape sometimes, want to try the 3 M one. BTW, if you get glue where you don't want it with mono multi, the adhesive eraser that SU sells (Xyron brand) works super to get it off. One quick swipe and it is gone.

Art Institute Designer Dries Clear is the greatest thing since sliced bread!!! I'm so thrilled with adhering ever since I found it!!! It goes such a looooonnnggg way and if you get the ultra-fine tip, it goes even further because you use even less. It will NOT let go, either!!! I've seen it in a few LSSs and TAC sells it.
HTH!

I like mono, but I find the Kokuyo Dot 'n Roller adhesive holds even better. The best deal I've found on these is through www.scrapbookpal.com I always get my orders in just a couple of days and shipping is free when you buy $25 or more.

I went from spending a TON on Tombow Mono Adhesive Runner Refills to the Mono Multi Glue. I was VERY reluctant to try a liquid glue on my Christmas Cards, as I have to make a pocket out of cardstock, but I made 10 the other night and there's no getting them apart. Best part - I used my JoAnn's 50% off coupon and got the glue for $1.81. Can't beat that!!! I'm a total convert.
I use a double sided tape that I buy from The Paper Pallette. It is wonderful! It's (I think) $3.00 for a roll of 5 yards that lasts forever! You can also heat it to emboss and use it for glitter and beads. It's about a 1/4" wide so you can use it on most ribbon too!
I used to buy it at the conventions but I've moved and they dont have conventions where I am. So I buy 10 rolls at a time from them because of the shipping. They are in Hawaii.
For my personal use, I have switched to a Scotch ATG dispenser. The initial cost of the dispenser is expensive (around $30+ for a 714), but the refill rolls are cheap and you can get ATG gold which is acid free. I got mine at framingsupplies.com.

I've had my ATG 714 for about 6 months and it is my most beloved tool. It makes taping layers a breeze and the refills are inexpensive. I also bought mine at framingsupplies.com.

This stuff is the BEST!!! Bought 10 rolls of it at the last convention that was here in Sacto. Hopefully it will hold me over until next year. It holds ribbon like nothing else.
Hey, how do you all apply the adhesive (whatever type you use) to the back of a layer? Do you just hit the corners or follow all the edges? I've been told that I use too much adhesive...but no one has ever told me how much is enough! :-D
