Hei og Vilkommen, Jane! Jeg heter Heather og jeg forstar og snakke litt Norsk. I was an exchange student on the southwest coast, near Egersund, back in high school (still in contact with my family!), and the maternal branch of my family comes from Tromso. It's very nice to "meet" you!

God dag og velkommen til SCS! I, too, speak a little Norsk. In fact, our distant cousins are having a reunion in Tolga this summer. We have considered going but are unable to find tickets for less than $900 and just cannot afford it. I was to Norway at the age of 12 with my family...you are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful country!
This is a great site; so glad you have found it, too!
Hi Jane, and welcome from one Norwegian to another. I was just talking about being Norwegian on another post this morning. I am actually only 75% Nowegian, but I guess thats close enough to count. I am 32 and have 4 anima... I mean boys. I love stamping and am totally addicted to this site, as i am sure you will find out it is hard to stay away.
If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to ask, everyone is so nice and very helpful on here.

Hi Jane, I lived in Sweden for 2.5 years and we travelled to Norway for as many weekends of skiing in Norway as we could - you live in a beautiful part of the world and I hope that you have the warmest welcome here - certainly, we received the very best hospitality on our many visits to Norway, before we came to America - Have a look under the bushes in your garden and see if you see my heart there, I'm sure I left it behind - Happy Stampin' - I used to teach at Medborgascolan in Trollhattan and I know I left my heart in Triesel (is that how you spell it) ski in and ski out wonderful Stugas!
My name is Jane and i come from Norway. I'm 31years old, and i have been stamping and makin cards for a little over a year now.
I am looking forward to get to know all of you!!!
Hi Jane...welcome, it's so wonderful how stamping brings us together! I took a quick look in your 'My Cards' and was wondering if you could tell me how you made these two cards that I've added as attachments.
I love these two cards!!!

We hosted a student from Norway about 6 years ago and have kept in close contact with her. In fact she is here now visiting with us!!!!! She lives on an island, the closest main city is Bergen. I was able to visit her 2 summers ago and fell in love with Norway! I can't wait to go back... it is such a beautiful country.
Siv and I plan to do a lot of stamping together while she is here....
