Default Question about RAK group

I submitted a request to join the RAK group. I got approval and sent in my info as requested. She said it would take a couple days and then I would be in. I'm not in a hurry but wondering where I'm supposed to see when I'm in. Is it posted in forums, like the Fan Club stuff or somewhere else? Does that make sense?

Thanks.
Becca

When I joined I just noticed one day that the RAK grounp forum was available to me from the main list, underneath the fan club forum in user groups. I had been waiting for a pm or something but it just appeared on the list of forums. I do know that it takes a while to get approved - I think they do approvals 2x per month or something like that. The RAK group is such a fun thing to participate in - I hope you enjoy it!

Once you're added, you'll see the RAK forum here in the forums. It will also be be listed as an active membership when you view your profile.

It doesn't look like you've been added yet, so sit tight. I'm sure Gina will add you to the group soon.

The RAK group is managed (all volunteer time) by Gina (aka ginapier). Basically once your membership is approved you gain access to the RAK forum. Within the forum is a link to an Excel spreadsheet with all the names and addresses for the members.

There really are no rules, but there are committees & games that help get you RAKing. For instance, you could join the Welcome Committee or the Birthday Committee (people send RAKs to the new members and to all members on their bday). There is also a RAK challenge that helps you choose people to RAK.

Since it is all volunteer time (and Gina travels *alot*), getting membership does take time, but be patient...it is worth it

Default another RAK sub-forum......

I'd like to also add that there is another sub-forum of RAK....besides the Birthday and Welcoming Committees.....there is a Wish-RAK sub-forum.

In this forum, you are given 3 free wishes to start.....you can 'wish' for any stamp or set that you may have an interest in and don't have.....or, maybe you only need a couple of stamped images for a special occasion....if anyone has that particular set or stamp, they'll stamp the image(s) and send them to you...(this is how that person earns more wishes). For you to earn more wishes, you 'grant' wishes of others. Its a great way to share images!! And....its alot of FUN!!
