Ok.....I guess I don't know what I'm doing, anybody want to help??? I've copy and pasted the link, but want the ticker to show up, not the link??? HELP!!!

Well, we can click on the link in your sig and see your ticker. The site moderators discourage the use of tickers or large images in our signatures because it slows the site down (especially for those who use dial-up). A couple of months ago the glut of tickers in signatures managed to crash the site a few times.

Ok ladies, I appreciate the info on slowing things down, I didn't realize it did that. So......as you notice, no more ticker!!! I'll make a post when I meet my first goal (at weight watchers). Thanks alot!

Way to go Tammy and Tammy's mom. Keep up the good work.
Instead of a Ticker, you could just go in your profile and keep updating your weight loss like some of the rest of us are. (I haven't had anything to update in a while  but hope to change that soon)

Congrats, Mischelle! I, too, had gastric bypass. Mine was December 13, 2004. I've lost 54 pounds in 3 months, and I have 56-66 to go. I'm almost half way there! I hope to have it all off at my 1 year anniversary. I've never regretted my decision, but for those of you considering the surgery, my only wish is that I had found the strength to do it on my own, without surgery! I'll never, ever be able to eat a whole hamburger again! :?
Good luck, everyone, on your weight loss!
Hugs,
Christine

I eat a little bit of chocolate almost every day! I don't deny myself anything! But the amounts I eat, after WLS, are MUCH smaller than before. You need to be careful about the amount of sugar you eat. It can make you "crash" then be sick. I'll send you an email, but it is probably better for you to ask specific questions. The surgery and its after effects are different for everyone.
I'll send you an email today, but like I said before, my one and only regret is that I didn't find the strength to lose the weight without the surgery. I knew I never would though.
Hugs,
Christine
