Oh my gosh, I send my daughter to bed all nice and clean and she comes in my room at about 3 in the morning scared and wants to sleep with me. So I let her. When I woke up and looked at her, what do I see? A little girl covered in stamps. Head to toe! She found a stamp in her room and instead of going to bed she decided to play, LOL. Anyway, here is a picture of what she did to her face. Just imagine what the rest of her looked like.
Too cute! I can say that because it's not my three year old little girl!
She once decided to paint her fingernails -- from the tip of her fingernail to her first knuckle on each finger. How she managed to not get any on the bed or the carpet is beyond me.
Too cute. At least it wasn't brilliant blue, that stuffs impossible to get out! My DS stamped her boy's hands on a shirt to send to her DH while he was in Iraq and she used the brilliant blue, I'm not sure if the ink came off their hands before he made it back. LOL

You must have been one shocked mamma when you actually saw her in the light of day!! Thanks for the laugh! And that's laughing WITH you, not at you!!

I'm with Pam and designatnine - laughing 'cause she's not mine, and outta here before one of mine sees the additional opportunities to decorate with stamps! I hope it came off without too much trauma.
LOL, thanks girls for joining in my humor. Yes I was quite shocked when I saw her in the morning, at first I thought it was something like a rash or something, until I got up closer to her and saw the "damage" LOL. Luckily it did come off fairly easy with a baby wipe I had for my newborn. Just a little scrubbing. I got another picture on my regular film of the whole body stamping, LOL.
That is to funny... I had one of the little ones I babysit for stamping with me one day.. used her hands in the BLACK and I turned around and she took them and went down her WHITE shirt with them. Needless to say it took about 4 bleachings but the shirt did come back to white again!! Think will use washable ink from now on..
Too cute! My two "painted" each other totally last summer with wet sidewalk chalk. They looked like tribal warriers, until it all dried. Then they just looked scary!
BTW... is that Celebrity Poker that she's watching on TV?
How sweet! As mom's we are our childrens first teacher! I remember when my daughter was 2. She was watching me put on my makeup. She asked me what I was doing...I told her "Mommy is getting pretty" I finished and later found my daughter smearing handfuls of vaseline all over her face, body, and hair...yes I said hair. I am not kidding, it took a month to get the grease out of her hair. When I asked her what she was doing, she told me,"I pretty too!" Our children watch our every move.
Adorable! Good for you to think of taking a pix!
My 5year old son did the same thing last Thursday. He had red ducks all over his face and marching down both of his legs! and I did not think to take a pix...just cleaned him off with make up remover toweletts.
Thanks for reminding me to relax and capture the moment...which at 50 is not so easy!
I'm learning!
Michelle
What a great picture! ROTFLMHO!!! Kids remind us sometimes that we just need to lighten up an laugh every once in a while so we don't one day go running out of the door screaming cuz' we've lost our minds! Thanks for the reminder to laugh!
A little off topic here, but is that the poker show in the background...what's up with that show. My husband is addicted to that! I was making fun of him to a friend the other day and she laughed and said her husband had tivo'd it that day!

Yes, it is the dreaded poker show. We watch a poker tournie at least once a night, and if my hubby can find one on during the evening and late at night we watch them both. Drives me bonkers. Now he wants to become a great poker player.
Okay, I am a total dork and did a search with my username. In doing this I found this old post of my daughter. I still can't help but laughing my butt off on this one. I did to a pretty cute 6x6 page on it for my brag book.

Laura, that's a great scrap page. Make sure you keep the negative in safe keeping. She has a few milestones coming up where you could display this picture!
