This week we are going to make cards for a season or holiday....any season or holiday you like...BUT using non-traditional colors for that season/holiday. For example, when I think of Halloween cards, I think orange, black, and maybe purple or lime green. Have you ever seen a Halloween card made in pastel colors? That's the type of thing I'm thinking for this challenge! Another example might be spring/Easter type card made for Earth Elements color family. So, put on your "out-of-the-box" thinking caps, and put a twist on traditional colors.
Edited to add:
squirrellyshirley just PMed me a link to Kittie's awesome card from last Friday's Think Pink Limited Supply challenge that is just perfect! Thanks! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
If you have questions, please ask. If you have suggestions, please share!
When you upload, please put TLC86 in the keyword section when you upload, and then post a link to your card here in this thread.

Thanks!
Happy Monday!

I actually made a couple of pink Christmas cards last night to send to Eliza Brock along with my pink challenge card.(you can read more about that here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers) Can't wait to get home to upload them!
Fun! Jen70 had us making chocolate snowflakes a couple of weeks ago and I've been using Roses in Winter on my Christmas cards this year. I need to design one for this month, so that's probably what I'll use. Unfortunately, this will have to wait until later, since I still need to design and cut card stock for another card for my class tomorrow morning. Great challenge, Beth. Thanks.
I won't get to play in the challenges for a few days as my husband and I are on a four day cruise in the Caribbean. Yes.....I see Caribbean Blue everywhere!!!! I did bring along 12 reinkers, ink pads and watercolor paper and a few of my favorite winter/holiday stamps sets to play with while we are gone. Nothing like sitting on the deck and painting and watching the ocean. And God forbid that we go four days without checking our email....wink,wink, wink. ......ah SCS I mean so we broght our laptop with us. I'll watching for wonderful c hallenge entries.

You lucky lady! Enjoy your cruise, Kittie! We'll look forward to seeing what inspires you during this time away.
Great challenge, Beth.
Wish i could play! I will definitely be looking at all the beauties later after i charge up the laptop... we lost power 4 days ago after the storm of the century blew through our area.. no power or heat for at least a week, we're told.. so no stamping for me! :(
Here's a card I uploaded not to long ago. I think it fills the requirements for this challenge nicely, and I just want to share this one because I like it so much. I will be making a new card shortly.

Oh how lucky for you -- hope you have a great time!!!
Here's my first. Not only is the color non-traditional, but the subject matter also is. And I'm usually not one to promote commercialism for the holidays, but I couldn't resist!
Here is mine. I like these colors together and they are definitely non-traditional. TFL
It's just showing a place holder so hopefully soon it will be ready for viewing.
