I have to say, my faith in humanity was a bit flawed... and I'm not sure I even realized it until becoming a member of this site.
Over the years I have been betrayed by "friends", disappointed or disillusioned by peers at work, a victim of theft, the list goes on...
Well apparently all my experiences took their toll.
However, having been a member of this site for only a few weeks I am thrilled to say that my faith in humanity has undergone a facelift. I have had amazing experiences with support, shared knowledge, and even offers to buy great products from other members who had access to those products when they weren't available at my local Michael's, Target, Joanne's, etc..
All from the kindness of strangers!! AMAZING...
I'd like to thank each and every one of you for restoring my faith on a daily basis. Please know that my experiences with all of you allow me to turn my smiling face onto people I encounter every day with a renewed belief that there are amazing people in this world and I am very lucky if I get the chance to meet just a few of them in my lifetime.
I know what you mean. When I was looking for a certain type of set for a project, I had several people offer to send me their sets to borrow! How generous is that?!
Stampers are a special breed, and I think they are an especially generous and giving type of person. I am soo thankful to have found SCS. It just feels like a warm hug from your favorite friend.

You brought tears to my eyes, mainly because I feel like I've been the recipient of alot of love and caring here at SCS ,too! I feel like I have 30,000 sisters that I can call on for advise, prayers and help at any time. It's an awesome feeling and I'm glad your faith has been restored! Keep the faith! Even thogh there are BAD people out there that will take advantage at every turn, there are also some awesome, kind generous and loving people as well, and I think most of them are right here on SCS!!!

I feel the same way. I've received some help from this site regarding our theft we endured last year--still on-going, but it amazes me how quickly people on this site wanted to help--and did!
I feel so comfortable at this site thanks to all of you wonderful people I encouraged my 16 year old DD to sign up with her own account here and she just posted her first cards and the comments thrilled her to pieces.

I agree!!!!!! I love it here in SCS land.... I wish I never had to leave and face reality!!! It is so nice to log on and have nice comments about your cards in your gallery, or fun swaps to participate in, and great people to talk to!

I love this site! I'm a relative newbie also (to the site) and was lucky to find it, b/c as most of you know, some of the "stamping" message boards out there aren't very nice! :(
I love logging on and seeing all the new cards, the great comments and questions in the forums and all the great support everyone receives!!
This is one of the best places to be. My hubby knows when I'm on here that I'm in my "girlfriends" mode and knows that I come away from here content and happier. Even though it's only been a few short months, it's amazing how dear some of these women have become to me and how amazing to see the generosity and genuine care of almost everyone I've encountered here! And the moderators are super!
I just love to see the many, many circles of kindness ripple out from here! How could anyone not want to share such positive joy?
Wonderful group of people!! I've only been a member as of this year. I found it after losing my job of 6.5 years. I am actively searching for a new job, and it's tough out there. This has given me a great place to play when I need a break. Plus it's given me great ideas to use with sets and supplies I already have - so I don't go out and spend money. Not that I'm not tempted, but then I go to the gallery and find all sorts of wonderful inspiration with the sets I have. Thank you for giving me a wonderful place to feel creativity!!!!!
i would refuse SCS rehab!!! i have serious withdrawl when i can't get on here atleast once a day. i love chatting with everyone and getting fresh ideas from the gallery! I LOVE SCS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
