What are your top three must order first items from the new catalog? Mine are Pretty Princess, Wonderful Words and Flexible Phrases for sets and then for accessories Chalk Pad in BB/SS, Narrow Olive Organdy and Buttons.
Mine would absolutely, positively be Wonderful Words, Coast to Coast, Friend to Friend, Simple Shapes, Something to Celebrate (ok, ok, I know I went past 3, but can anyone really, honestly, stop at 3?)
My favorite accessory would be the new Crafters Tool Kit. My demo had it at stamp club the other night and I tell you - it's awesome. There is a "hole" template in it that lets you line any type of hole up perfectly. There is even a paper piercing tool so you can sew!. I wish I could "accidently" loose my eyelet setting kit so I could have a worthy excuse to buy this. Oh, well....
I just got my order today! The first things on my list were In Full Bloom plus the matching wheel, Exotic Blooms, Wit and Wisdom of Wanda, Birthday Banter and of course the Crafter's Tool Kit. More than 3 yes, but like you said HB, you can't stop at 3! I also got the basic brown ink pad and Kanji, which isn't new, but I'm in an Asian kind of mood, and I thought Exotic Blooms and In Full Bloom would lend themselves nicely to Asian themed cards. Gotta go play! After I make dinner of course!
In full bloom (that has gone from the top of my list, to the bottom and right back to the top--I'm crazy I know!! but when I saw some of your cards I was blown away. what possibilities!).
All wrapped up (tons of possibilities and SO much fun!)
and one of the sketch ones, but I can't decide! both are awesome!!!!
as far as acessories go: colored velum (thank up SU), buttons & aqua pen!
My top three would have to be:
Wonderful Words
In Full Bloom
Summer by the Sea
I am also going to get Shapes and Shadows too....I just love this...so versatile!
I just placed my first order for the new catalog tonight. My top 3 are:
Flexible Phrases
Birthday Banter
Summer by the Sea
I had a hard time narrowing mine down. I broke down and got Totally Cool and Pocket fun ! I told myself I wouldn't because I really don't have anyone in mind to make a card with them.
Wonderful words
Summber by the sea
In Full Bloom w/ wheel
All wrapped up
they are on their way to me now!

If you want to leave a great impression - stamp the card yourself!
Sorry to tell you, but one of my customers ordered Summer by the Sea and it's on backorder! So are my aqua painters. And I still haven't received some retired sets I ordered on July 16th. But I got In Full Bloom today and I hear it calling me to come and mount it!
I got my order last week - 2nd day service was calling my name! My top three picks were:
1. The Back Nine - I have a golf family and needed the set for a swap I am participating in.
2. Noble Deer - for another swap!
3. Birthday Banter
I also ordered the Paisley Print background stamp and have fallen in love with it! Rounding out my order were Country Comfort and Shape-Ups. I'm playing with the Festive Four Hostess set tomorrow - I need to do 24 cards for a swap on Sunday. I am taking a vacation day on Friday to get these swaps done!
This is so fun! Everyone has such varied tastes (except for Wonderful Words which seems to be on just about everyones list). I look at some of these sets in the catalog and think " Wow, I really hadn't looked at that one" and now, of course, I've just got to have it
Boy, do I wish you all lived in my back yard.
HB (Carol)
Wonderful Words
Flex Phrases
Heaven Scent (I love lilacs and I've been waiting for a lilac stamp carried by SU for many years... I don't want to wait any longer!)
I like the wonderful words, pretty princess, buttons, bows and twinkletoes (that's new right?) I also like the flexible phrases.
i heard a rumor that the caddy to hold stamp pads is available now. I migh have to get that.
and here are a couple of dumb questions: toward the beginning of the book when it's going over the basics there is a stamp with a sketch of a baby on his belly sucking his thumb? Where is that stamp? I have to have it and I can't find its set anywhere!
also, everyone keeps talking about the chalk pads. did I miss something? SU! has chalk ink pads now? I'm not really partial to them, I'll stick to my classics, but I can't find them in the catalog. Thanks!
#1 has to be Summer by the Sea (love all of these type)
#2 Holiday Spirit (used last night at a stamp camp very cool)
#3 Pretty Princess (for my girl stuff)
#4 Road Trip and Little Engine (for my boy stuff!)
What are your top three must order first items from the new catalog?
Birthday Banter, Friend to Friend, and after seeing so many cute swaps at convention...Ladybug Picnic.
(I also love In Full Bloom, but I ordered that at convention!)
As for accessories.......CRAFTER'S TOOL KIT!!!! STICKY TAPE (that stuff is FANTABULOUS!) I can't wait for the slit punch to be available!

Got my order on Tuesday....all are mounted except everyday flexible phrases....just can't get through all 56 of them! I had to have:
Summer by the Sea
Puppy Love (yeah, I know some of you think the puppies are scary)
Everyday Flexible Phrases
Burst into Bloom (HS)
All Wrapped Up & accessories
Favorite Friends
Copper cord
I know, that was more than 3!! I couldn't stop at just 3!
All Wrapped Up
Simply Circles
Tie - Simple Type Alpha and Newsprint Alpha
Honorable Mention:
Any of the new shape stamps
(especially Shapes and Shadows)
Aquaria
I'm Here
Definitely Diner
It's a Party
Framed Greetings
All the Best.
Funny - I wasn't inspired by any of the new Christmas stamps.
My three new favorite sets are Favorite friends , Simple shapes and tiny talk . Favorite new items are the color caddy , the aqua pen the new designer papers , all of them !!I also like the new pillar boxes for hostess gifts !!
I just signed up to be a (discount) demo on Tuesday, and I subbed in Sparkin' Summer and In Full Bloom, so I can't wait until I get my starter kit. I'm waiting until I am officially a demo to place my first order from the new catty - which will definitely include Framed Greetings as well as TONS of other Favorite Things... (I have WAY more than 3 favorite sets and then there's still the accessories!)
Well, I think my 3 favortie are somewhat different.
I have to say that fine frames is in my top 3. One of the frames is perfect for the little hellos, and one is like a cloud or conversation bubble that would fit the flexible pharses perfectly (so that is my number 2-flexible phrases) and like everyone else, my number 3 is wonderful words.
Very hard to narrow it down, you should see my list!!!!!!!
Just got my catty yesterday (yeah!!!) so, I've only had one quick look through the book. I really liked flexible phrases (have to save up for that one!) I was a bit disappointed in the Easter and Christmas stamps - especially Easter. Not much to choose from for inspirations. And I LOVE snowmen, but I think a lot of the sets were removed? I may need to check the sale sites here to see if I can find some snowman stamps!
I appreciate all the ideas mentioned - it gives me some to definitely check when I check things out again today.

Okay, ladies. NOW I see why my order for Wonderful Words is on backorder! LOL! My other top picks are Friend to Friend and Heaven Scent.
I have a HUGE list of accessories on my wish list. I am indeed an accessory girl. Some of those on my list include a bunch of our new punches, Sticky Strip for the new Beads, new cording, new Simply Scrappin' kits, etc.
Sheesh - I'd better do a few workshops to fund my new catalog order! LOL!
