Cool Words on Words Text...
Check this out! The ScrapabilityWebsite/Blog has a .pdf file on creating cool text using WordArt and Text Boxes. It looks pretty easy, and the 4 page tutorial is easy to understand--step-by-step pics of what you will see and how to do it! Pretty cool! I have also attached the .pdf file below.

Thanks, I tried to follow the instructions posted earlier (and maybe in the newsletter?) but I got lost like right away!!! These look like something I can follow. Mary

Very easy to follow instructions! (hint - if you are printing on a B&W printer - the words you think are "white" are not!)
anyway - wanted to add my own hint. I wanted to repeat a phrase over and over - so I typed it once, edited individual words (font, size, etc) and THEN I copied and pasted the entire text box. Made it really quick!

Laser/ink jet printing and scrapbooking
My apologies if my question has been 'asked and answered'... Are there any treatments one would need to do to preserve the words, titling, journaling, etc. that come from a laser printer or an ink jet printer? We've all had the unpleasant experience of trying to remove from a three-ring binder (like one you'd use at school or work) a page from a laser printer that has adhered itself to the vinyl, leaving marks that are impossible to remove. I would definitely want to avoid that in a scrapbook... Has anyone seen laser printer toner stick itself to page protectors like it can to vinyl notebooks?
Thanks for your help!

Word on Words in Open Office
Can anyone explain how to do this in Open Office? For instance, I can't figure out where/how to find/word art in this program. I don't have Microsoft Word.
Thanks for any light you can shed on this.

Word on Words in Open Office
Actually I'm pretty much lost on this whole project. I was able to type a word but can't figure out how to just have it outlined. Plus can't move the typed up words on top of my big word. It just moves it. I haven't used Open Office much at all so maybe this is way beyond my brain.

Try to save the document first by right clicking your mouse and then "save target as". Hope this helps!

silly question, but is there somewhere i can see it that isn't a pdf file?
for the life of me I cannot get my adobe to work, ever! I've even tried reinstalling it, but it won't let me open a pdf file.
would anyone want to email it to me saved as a different type of document???
