Anyone remember THAT old commercial?? (All you youngsters out there are just shakin' your heads goin', "Huh??") Anyway, I digress . . .
Now that I have your attention, check out my new craft/stamp room! I NEVER thought this would happen!! If you had told me 6 months ago that I would have one, I would never have believed it!! It all started with a plumbing problem in the basement and it just, well, kinda happened! Special thanks to Kittie747 for her inspiration and support (got the idea from her lovely stamping space - thanks girl!! Love ya!!)
I got the shelves for the stamps from Ikea (love them!). I need about three more to store the rest of my stamps, but I'm waiting until they open their new store here (in SLC) in the spring. It costs as much to ship them as they do themselves! Here is a link:
WOW! I am in awe. We just moved and I am seriously considering transforming what is supposed to be a guest room into a craft room - who needs guests when you have STAMPS!?!?!? Thanks for the inspiration, Wendy!

Wendy it's beautiful! I love your magnetic board -- what an awesome idea! And hey, I know that quote above your stamping desk! ;) How fabulous to see that everyday!
Enjoy your beautiful space! Now when is playtime??
What an unbelievably fabulous space!!!!!!! Now I am motivated to at least clean up my sewing/stamping room. Maybe I should visit IKEA and check out those shelves...Congratulations, and when can we all come over?
The teeny cupboards are kind of an illusion. The horizontal "spice" drawers are actually two separate drawers, not six. The vertical ones are just one long skinny door, not drawers.
Here are some pix of them:
This is the inside of the other "spice" drawer. Plus, the inside of one of the "pots/pans" drawer where I keep stamp sets (these will be moved once I get more CD towers from Ikea). Also, the inside of one of my other file drawers. I LOVE all the space and organization! I can find all my stuff, now! :-D
I'm just about speechless looking at your pics!!! If you lived in OH, I'd drive over to play on this rainy day - except it's too beautiful to mess up. Well, almost.
Wendy, I am so excited to finally see the finished room. It is beautiful. I hope I get to play in it when I come out to the next convention in SLC. It was a long road for you but it will be well worth it. I love that you have enough room to have your table as well as your work area. That will be great if you want to teach a class.
