Everyone had so much fun with the first Limited Supply Challenge that I thought I'd post another one. I took the following list of supplies from another fairly new stamper friend of mine. Let's see what everyone can come up with from this list. Remember that you can use any combination of things on this list, but you cannot use anything not listed below. When you upload your card to the gallery please put LSC02 in the keyword section and post a link to this thread so we can all go look. No winner this time. Just for the fun of playing!
Supplies:
Stamp sets: Pocket Fun, Love Without End, Bold Butterfly (OR you may substitute the retired set Flutterbys), Love Ya Bunches
Cardstock: US White, Glossy White, Black, Bold Brights
Ink: Black, Versamark, Brilliant Blue, Green Galore, Lovely Lilac, Pink Passion, Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, YoYo Yellow (either spots or full size pads)
Accessories: Bold Bright markers, Brayer, Daisy punch (either current or retired) Bold Bright eyelets, grosgrain ribbon any color, sponge, blender pen,
plus
Any regular household item such as bleach, staples, etc.
This Challenge will run today (Friday) through Tuesday night. If you can't upload to the gallery you can still play at home. You don't need everything on the list to play. Just use what you have.

I found the first one to late but I will definatly do this one. I have 3 out of the 4 sets so I'm sure I can come up with something. I was looking for something to do tomorrow besides laundry anyway. :lol: :lol:

I certainly understand that. When I was a cutomer it took me a LONG time to get all the ink colors in full size pads. I would highly suggest getting a set of Bold Bright spots. Spots was all I used for the first several years I stamped. Very economical way of getting lots of colors.

Hope you get some good suggestions. I have lots of sets, so was pretty amazed that I didn't have any of these. I can't wait to see what people come up with...may have put them on my 'to buy" list. This site is so bad for my budget!
I was able to participate after all! I went to my demo's house and she let me borrow her BB cs and Love ya Bunches! It is a pretty simple card (I tend to work better in my own environment w/ my own stuff! :lol: )
Here's my LSC02 card I only had the love ya bunches stamp set, and I'm kind of burnt out with that from SAB, so I was thankful I had the daisy punch- this is what I did with it...
Let me start by saying this really was a challange for me. Bold Brights are definately NOT my colors. And the only reason I even have 2 of these sets is because I have a stamp collecting addiction!
So... the first card, I decided to do Red, White and blue. You can't go wrong with those colors right?? The following card is proof that you can! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
The whole time I was working on this card I kept hearing the little fish in Finding Nemo say "I'm Obnoxious"
So onto card #2, I figured I could use these colors in my normal kinda shabby crinkly way... Nope, I'm sure it can be done, but apparantly I can't pull it off. This card is only marginally less offensive than the first: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
So I figure I just better give up, use pink & purple and force myself to make something cute. So OK, I don't really dislike this card, but I do find it rather boring: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Then I realized that there is a color combo in those choices that I do like! As a general rule, I dislike anything pink, however I do like pink paired with brown or black... Quick check of the allowed colors... YAY, black is on the list!!! So finally, on the 4th card, I got one I really liked: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I decided to make it extra challenging and I took pink and red out of my color choices, they just seemed to obvious. This card is kinda "different" but I like it
I figured out why my first one is so boring. It needs to have some words added to it, like the Happy Birday. I won't put a phrase on until I am ready to use it. I like to leave phrases off and add Birthday or Thank You, ect. when I pick a card to use, that way I am not limited.
