Question What is this type of card called

Hi does anyone know what this type of card is called..

http://www.jgdcrafts.com/store/erol.html

( one in the store you need to goto" Templates & stencils " then
Card Templates & Stencils then
Tempting Templates then
look for Zig-Zag it is above the "Envelope - C6"

The retailer calls it a zig-zag card yet I have not been able to find any refernces to a zig zag card on the web...

One of my US stamping buddies calls it an Accordian card - but it is not like accordian cards I know nor is it like the tutorial accordian card her at SCS..

Another stamping buddie thought it could be a swing card - till I found the templates /instructions here at SCS...

So if anyone knows what is and WHERE I might be able to find a template I would be VERY grateful

Hugz & thanks

Hi tamba 1 I thought this card looked familiar, Sandy Genovese featured a card like this a while back. The site is DIYnet.com. hope this link works for you. http://www.diynetwork.com/diy/sc_mat...277744,00.html
Go to the printable version- it's an Adoble file.

Sorry, I miss the edit button, go to the 'click here' for the adobe file, or the printable version, which ever is best for you. HTH

I know there used to be a place that advertised in the back of stamping magazines (like Rubber Stamper, etc.) for pre-made zig-zag cards. I'm pretty sure I've also seen an episode on Carol Duvall with this card. In fact, the opening montage one year showed one being held opened up. Try searching her show index on HGTV.

Tamba,

I also got some help from fellow demo's on SCS - Here is what one of them said:

BostonGirlStamps,
I know this is not exactly the same thing, but it comes real close. I knew I saw this on a show several years ago and it is basically the same but the folds are closer together. Sandi Genovese sent this to Carol Duvall as a Christmas card...weird how I remember that.
I wouldn't probably take the time to make this, but it is cool.
HTH

Question EVERYONE who has helped me in this thread

Thanks sooo mcuh for all your help

Once again this amzing group has solved the puzzle

If anyone is interested

1, The concertina card is the perfect solution but it also seems like teresad'd post re the Accordian Folded Mini Book is similar if not identical ( hard to see in the pic)

2. I HAVE found out 2 places where you can buy the Zig Zag, Accordian , Concertina Card ( whatever you choose to call it) :-) ready made ready for stamping

a) Company called About Art Accents - http://www.aboutartaccents.com/accents6.html (down at the very bottom
of the page).

b) http://www.papergoods.com/ ) though they don't have them on their main site at the moment...

So once again a big hug to you all

Maybe someone will run this card as a Swap project & Tutorial I would love to see what everyone came up with ...

I myself am wanting to make a wedding card for a VERY special friend

Hugz & Thanks
