This is soooo cute! I just found out that my daughter's kindergarten student teacher is getting married, so I think we will make a kit for her. Thanks for sharing your idea!

I made a kit for a college student...I put in laundry detergent, a small first aid kit, a drink hugger from the school, pain reliever, McDonald's gift card and some other items. I put it all in a large paint can and wrapped the outside with a school T shirt. He loved it!

Loved the teacher survival kit idea. I had made some summer survival kits for moms before. Thanks for sharing.

Default summer survival kit ing.

Could you pm me with the ingredients to your Summer Survival Kit please?? My sister just asked me today if I could look one up for her (she doesn't have internet). I thought I would compile a list of different kinds for her. Thanks so much!

Here is what I have done at Baby Showers before. I had large versions of each item for guests to present to mom-to-be and then had mini versions as a "goodybag" for the guests to take home.

MOM’S SURVIVAL KIT
A cotton ball to soften life's hard blows
A band-aid to help heal hurt feelings
A battery to give you extra energy when you're feeling drained
A toothpick to help you pick out the good qualities in your child (especially at those inevitable moments when they're driving you crazy!)
A button to button your lip at those times when it's the best strategy
An eraser to erase the mistakes you'll make along the way
A candy kiss to remind you of the simple power of a kiss or a hug
A Lifesaver candy as a reminder to offer help when it's needed, and accept help when you need it
A candle to light your way when things seem darkest
A quarter to phone your own mom (or a friend) anytime you need some advice, a shoulder to cry on, or a kind word

These are great ideas. If I ever find my list for music teachers (piano, for me), I'll try to remember to post it.
In the meantime, TFS!!
