UPDATED with a 2008 Calendar. Printed sheet includes cutting instructions!

I made up a template in Excel for a mini calendar to be used for 3x5 or 4x6 frames. Using the attached file, you print two calendars on three sheets of regular paper. Be sure to review carefully before cutting, as several months have six weeks instead of five, so you want to make sure you don't cut the months too short.
This isn't a perfect template, but I believe (if I remember correctly), you cut 2" off the right margin, then you can cut the page in half between the two months displayed (at 3.25") and the month should be centered. Then cut vertically (across the page) at 2.5" marks.
The actual calendar is 3.25" wide, by 2.5" tall. I have one in my gallery if you want to see the size in a 4"x6" frame.
I hope this all makes sense! I tried to make the calendars easy to cut, with the fewest number of cuts.
TFS Cat!! This is great! Do you have one for 2006?? I was thinking about doing a "school" fiscal year calendar for teachers at the end of June! If you wouldn't mind putting your 2006 version here also, that would be great! TIA

I am making a gift bag with a pattern that I found on here and was trying to think of goodies to make to put in there other than cards of course....this is exactly what I had envisioned making and you have taken all the work out of making my own template for the calender. Thank you so much!!

I've seen a calendar that prints all 12 months on 1 sheet of cardstock. 8-1/2 x 11. My upline has it, and updates it each year. I can scan an example of what one of the months look like if anyone would like to see it.
does anyone have any samples done that I can view? I need visuals!!!!!
Cindy - there's a link in my first post for the calendar I made. Also, check the calendar gallery here. There's lots of ideas that would work with this template!
Hi Cat!!! I just took yours and made it in a doc format... all you have to do is print and you automatically have 2 2006 and 2-2007 calendars per sheet of cardstock. You can then cut them down the middle like you do for a card at 5 1/2 and you are set to stamp and decorate... that's how I made my sample one in my gallery. Have fun!!! :mrgreen:
I just subscribed to this thread because this is so wonderful, and I know my card campers are going to love this! You are such a sweetie to do all that work and then share with us - THANK YOU!

I can't thank you enough to all of you for sharing your ideas on the calendars. I have known about this "stampin' Slumber Party/Workshop" that I am doing in Oct but have been stressing about the layout and dates and love all your suggestions. Thx again for sharing. I hope to upload samples when I'm ready !!!! This is my cruunch time when my girls seem to be most interested in Anything! I just don't have a lot of time for inspiration especially when I've never done the calendars myself !! I am going to enjoy this so much more as you helped take the stress out of the basics.....Yeah!
Everyone have a Super Week!! {{{hugs}}}
Shelly
Thank you so much for sharing this template! I know it was alot of work to set it up. I think I'm going to use in an upcoming stamp camp.
Thanks,
Marion
You can buy the frames at Micheal's... I've not seen them any where else. You'll find them where all the other frames are, usually on an end cap. Maybe $2.49 each?
