This is something I really want and none of my Targets seem to have it. I know someone posted earlier this week that they found some in the $1 spot (unless I misunderstood that) and I am wondering if anyone else has seen them in their Target Dollar Spot? I did find mini staplers with matching colored staples in our office supply section and they are $1.99 - I know that's not much of a difference but I just want to be sure if I should wait to see if these show up in my "spot" soon! So has anyone else seen them for a buck??
Thanks a bunch
Stacy
Okay, I've been to two Targets and don't see a "Dollar Spot" is there a place I should be looking? I did see the mini stapler, but it wasn't on sale at all. I did see a row of clearance note cards, etc., but nothing near a dollar. I noticed several mention a Dollar Spot, I'd like to find that!
The dollar spot is usually in the very front of the store, as you walk in. At our Target, there are signs above the area as well as on the bins themselves.
The dollar spot is right when you walk in the door and its called the dollar spot. Its not near the stationary. I did get the stapler but I won't have time to go back to Target until the weekend to see if they have anymore. If I see them I'll get some!
I did not find the staplers in the dollar section at our Target either, but they did have some in the Clearance section by the office supplies. They are $1.38. I had to buy two to get two different color staples(green and red). I'll have to keep checking in the dollar section.
Just got back from Target - found them in a little set (stapler, mini scissors) in various colors in the Stationery isle on clearance. They were $1.38 and then they had the mini staples in a nice variety set of colors for $.99.
Also...found some really cute spiral notepads on clearance (also in Stationery) - they have what looks like pressed flowers on the front and were ONLY $.68 - bought 10 of them to do a workshop - cover on the front.
I need to stay away from Target - just spent at least $25 on $1 Spot stuff! Great scrapbooking embellishments, darn it!

I've never seen the mini staplers in the $1 Spot - only in the regular office supply section. $1.99 seems about right for the Target brand, but beware - mine pooped out on me pretty quickly. There is a small Swingline for about $3.99 that has already *way* outlasted the house brand. Thankfully, all of those colored staples came with it, at least something is lasting - I now have enough lime green to last...well...forever! ~ K

You ladies make me want to move closer to a Target and Michaels! I have my life revolving around stamping...and boy do I have fun. Looking forward to Apr/May coming as it will be the earliest I can get to them...have fun though cuz you always give me lots to add to my list. It's a good thing I'm not sending my list to Santa though...otherwise I'd be broke paying for the postage!

Thanks ladies. I finally found the dollar spot and did get some embellishments and the mini stapler with colored staples. We have another Target I plan to hit tomorrow
I just got back from Target...they had the mini staplers and colored staples, vellum envelopes, mini inkpads, raised alphabet stickers, charms, paper, punches, gel pens, fancy fibers and mulberry paper, and many other scrapbooking items I know I am forgetting ALL IN THE DOLLAR SECTION!!!!!!
We have them at our Super Target in Va. They are a newer $1 item. They also had the mini vellum envies, some charms, as well as a thumb circle punch.
Ooh, would this circle punch woek for spinner cards? My target had a few punches, but I didn't see the circle. I saw a star, a heart, a square & a swirl. It didn't have the vellum envelopes, but it did have the dimensionals, double-sided tape on a roll (like scotch tape), sticky-backed buttons with thread, wavy scissors, a 4-pack of templates (one page was alphabets, which I can use with dry embossing). I also found a package of "paper fasteners" which were shaped, colored brads (stars, hearts, etc.) over in the stationary/wrapping paper clearance stuff for $.68 a box.
Somebody please tell me if the circle punch will work for making the spinner card channel! If it does, and I can't find them at my Target, maybe I can find someone to buy one for me!!

Well then it's a good thing you didn't stop by Wal-Mart next -- they're selling 3"x5" top-bound spiral notepads for only 25 cents each, as well as having great prices on acrylic photo frames (for post-it holders)!
