I’ve got another of my own layouts for you to play with this week. This is a nice way to use up some left over pieces so I hope you still have a few lying around.
It was suggested to me by one of the regular players to number the layers so it’s easier to follow the sketch. Yes it would be nice if the sketch got followed just a bit closer since it serves as a resource to the new and experienced stamper. That does not mean you can't small border/matt your layers a few times. Always take a look at the example cards I do for ideas.
We're just talking main layers here on the numbers.
So I hope the numbers help and here’s a tip…if your computer isn’t close to the stamp room just print out or quick draw the sketch to follow. This really helped me when I started doing the challenges. Enjoy and have a great time!
If you need measurements check my card description linked here.
To print this layout: - (nc means no color) If you see a small layout click on it or if you see an icon click on the words next to it.
-When the black surround screen appears click only on the layout and a white screen with the layout should appear.
-Right click and click on print from the pop up box or hold down your shift key and P key at the same time.
-Now you're ready to choose print and it should print to actual size of the card depending on your computer.
Shoot....That's what I get for checking the challenge when I'm supposed to be working....I wanna stop what I'm doing and stamp. This is a great sketch, very fresh and it will definitely be new for me. I do have lots of scraps to pull together for this. Guess it will be another late night for me workin and then stampin....sleep what's that?....Oh well, back to work
Roxi,
Admired your sample last week! Sure appreciate the dimensions...they're super helpful as are the numbers on the layers. Thanks so much for both.
Hope to try this later this week. Just received a new smaller image I'm eager to use. Now to come up with the backgrounds and colors.

Great sketch Roxie. I can't wait to play. I'll have to play after work. This is the student's first day. Mine was yesterday with Open HOuse last night. Talk about a LONG day I worked 8-8 and got two cards done when I got home! I was going through cardmaking withdrawl!! LOL

I really have many other things that I should be doing before 8:00 this morning! I took a bit of time colouring this image last night, and was hoping it would fit onto today's sketch! Sure enough, it did, so I had to quickly make this card!
