When you embellish with eyelets, brads etc., do you attach them to the card front and then adhere it to your card so everything is hidden or do you put the embellishments on after and have them show in the inside of the card?
I don't like the look of them on the inside of the card so I attach them so they are hidden. If you are only doing 2 layers, then you're not really using them for attaching but if you're doing a 3 layer card you can attach the top 2 layers and then paste the whole thing to your card.
This is one reason why I didn't participate in the no-layer challenge. I like to use eyelets and brads, and without layers they would show on the inside of the card. Everything has to look nice and finished!

Ok, I'll be the oddball out. I like to eyelet all my layers together. I've found that many times when I've gotten swap cards and they don't put them through all the layers that the back layer starts to fall off. If I have my eyelets through all the layers I know that card is stuck together!
Doesn't matter too much to me, I do like them hidden, but sometimes, design dictates showing. And, I agree with the above post about wanting it to stay together, sometimes it becomes too bulky and the attachments can help keep it together.

I'm participating in this challenge and not using any embellishments at all, and my cards look very nice and finished!
Another hider here! I too am particiapting in a no layer swap and not using any embellishments and having a hard time choosing which card I like the best.
I'll be the odd one out, too I've never really thought about it, but I assumed the eyelets and brads were meant to hold the layers together, so I've never worried about them showing. I don't like trying to attach a bulky cardfront to my cards because it doesn't seem to lie down nice and smoothly. It would be nicer if the backside of eyelets and brads looked better, though.
Looks like I'd better be more careful if I'm going to participate in swaps!
I do both - hide them when possible and don't when not! However, I use the Making Memories eyelet setter and it makes my eyelet backs look like flowers! So they still look pretty! I do try to hide all my brad backs though - they are not so pretty! I am pretty particular about how my cards look when they are done on the inside and will make a card front to attach to a card base with glue dots if there is a chance things are going to show on the inside and look dumb.
A swap with no embellishments? I could do that! I stamp late at night, live in an apartment building, and can't always set eyelets etc at midnight - for some reason the neighbours don't like the pounding!!! And it makes my husband grouchy too!

Let 'em show! I have a friend that once told me that the little imperfections are what shows that it is handmade and stamped just for them. (I also don't like the card fronts coming off! That's even worse than the brads and eyelet backs showing.)
