Hi Bev: How exciting!!!!! I got a pal "addicted" to SCS and she lives in Elk Grove Village (I'd be coming from Orland Park). If she hasn't seen the post yet, boy is she gonna be thrilled! I'm gonna try to get a few together and get in touch soon!
Count me in! I am so excited! I live in Naperville, so this isn't too far at all. I actually went to High School in Arlington Hts (Hersey). I grew up in Mt. Prospect.
Glad you found the post. It will be fun to meet and stamp with everyone.
Karrie: Sorry for your friend's dad.
Glitter gal: It will be in and near your ole stomping grounds!!
~Bev
On the registration form if everyone would just make a note that they will be participating in a swap, then I can get a head count on how many swaps for everyone to make. I will edit my original post tomorrow to include that info. That way everyone would have a better count as to the number of swaps to make. I am sure there will be stampers there who will not want to swap. It sure is fun to get new ideas, though. Hope this helps. ~Bev
Bev,
Another question- sorry, I am new to this swapping at stamping events.....
If I were to make 6x6 pages to swap- do I make just one 6x6 page, or do you make side by side pages?????
Hey Bev - You rock - I should be there - let me know if there is anything I can do to help out - I don't want to be the SU! pal who does not help out!!!! Claudia
Ooooooo, this sounds like fun!! Thanks so much for organizing this, Bev! Is there anything else we'd need to bring with us besides our swaps and our $20? Do we bring our supplies with us to make additional cards/pages other than the make-and-takes? Sorry for so many questions, haven't been to one of these before. Thanks again!!!!!

We must be the change we want to see in the world.
So glad that you all are coming!!
To answer a few questions: Usually in swaps like this you bring 1 six by six page. (So lets say you want to swap 10 pages you would make 10- six by six pages to swap.)
Claudia is that really you? So glad to see you are coming...Of course, I will contact you for extra "help".
Yes, there will be make and takes BUT bring your own supplies to work on whatever projects you want. We will have from 10 to 4 to stamp/scrap!! Make sure your supplies you bring with you are labeled so that you don't lose them or "trade" them unexpectedly with a stamper.
I hope this information helps. Thanks ladies. ~Bev
This sounds like fun. I would love to come. I will have to see if I can get that Saturday off of work. It is the beginning of NIU's spring break so I don't know how many of the college students will be requesting time off.
Hey Kim,
Glad that Alison will be coming....she is the best!!!
Jennifer is a maybe....she is checking her calendar...
Haven't heard from Denise.....
I know...Claudia is so much fun!!!
Can't wait to see you all and to meet some new Il scsers!!!
~Bev
Hi Bev - Well I was going to tell you that I was coming, but Kim beat me to it. If you need help setting up and cleaning up afterwards I will be able to help.Just let me know!! Your great for putting all this together.
Alison
Tomoly,
Thanks, I am sure the closer it gets, I will be asking for help... Thanks for offering....
Thanks for adding this thread to the other thread about the new gal on the site from IL. I am not sure how to do that....(How to copy and paste a thread on another thread) :?
Getting the word out is the Best help now....
~Bev
Just for clarification: Yes, there will be make and take it projects, But we will have from 10 to 4 to stamp our own personal projects. (In between eating and winning prizes and having one heck of a scs good time!!) So bring your own personal papers, inks, accessories so that you can stamp the day away. I guess it'll be like a crop day...except we will be stamping. Don't forget to label your supplies!!! HTH!!~Bev
Hi everyone, We have had the flu bug at my house and so I am just checking in to see if there are any interested Illinois gals still wanting to sign up for our big day!!!Don't forget that registration is due by the 22. Hope to see you for a fun filled day of stamping!!! Bev
We have 5 registrations so far. And another 5 in the mail. So hope more will find out about us and join us!!! You won't want to miss out on this fun day!!! Bev
How fun!!! Count me in! A friend of mine (Cindy) is going to come, too, so I will get the registration forms and check in the mail to you today. Neither of us are going to participate in the swaps. Maybe by the end of the day we'd have something to swap.
