(((((August VSN Pre-challenge)))))
Break out the head bands and legwarmers, here is a warm-up challenge for all of you VSN junkies. In honor of all of the Material Girls of the 80's your challenge is to create a card using fabric. Use it any way you wish, just make sure there is "material" somewhere on your card. You can make your card whenever you want just remeber to keep to the 45 min. rule!
Here's my sample:
Material Girl
There will be no judging, just play for fun. Let's see what funky things everyone can create! Be sure to put AUG06VSNPRE in your keywords so everyone can find your card easier. Have fun

Ok...here's mine..done in a rush...fabric is used from a Wallpaper sample book I had lying around...you know how they have fabric samples in the back to match wallpaper?

Great challenge!
I actually had this card on-hand from when my mother was visiting and we were on a big card-making spree. She had picked up some gorgeous fabric at the quilt store because she thought it would be nice for card making and she was nice enough to share it with me. I wanted some myself, but when we went back to the store, they were sold out :-(
