WT74 - Designer Seconds
This week is rerun week again for the Ways to Use It Challenge. The challenge is to pull out your designer papers and find ways to use them. We have had a special request for ideas for the double-sided papers, so if you have and use them...extra brownie points!
The original thread was WT39 on December 13th and you can link to it HERE for ideas if you wish.
Sorry this challenge is posted a little later than normal...little boys have been having a very busy morning. I'll hopefully find some time to play along later at nap time. Don't you just LOVE nap time?!
Please remember to put WT74 in your keywords section and post a link back here in this thread. This is not a race, contest and there are no deadlines or limit to the amount of projects you do. You are also welcome to create things other than cards...use your creativity and above all, have fun!
Happy stamping,

  No SU patterned paper??? Either you have incredible self-restraint or you used up all you have.
I'm a patterned paper horder... I'll see if I can let go of a scrap or two in order to play

I just used the Sarah paper yesterday, but I bet I can come up with something else too.
Good Morning everyone! And thanks Julia! Oops! Looks Like it will have to wait until after baby DD's morning bottle.

Of course! There is never a SU requirement on this site and everyone is welcome to play with what they have. I try my best to make the challenges each week so that everyone can play. If they don't have the item, a lot of the time they can "faux" it.

Oooohh ... great challenge! I have been trying to use my patterned paper a lot more lately. Here are a few I have created recently:
Formal Birthday
Paisley Birthday
Birthdays are the Best
Good One
Celebrating You
Can't wait to use more patterned paper for this challenge.
Thanks, Julia!

Good morning Hope I get a chance to play. My DD & I may be off for a shopping spree. The good kind. Hobby Lobby plus other such places. Just used designer paper for the challenge yesterday. I do tend to hoard some of it. Guess that's silly, since that's why you buy it in the first place. To use. See you later.

Oh, this is a wonderful challenge, Julia. It's not so much that I hoard them, I just forget to use them. If I were only more organized... (sigh). Will see what I can come up with. Thanks, Julia.

The first one I just made for yesterdays sketch challenge. It fits for today's challenge. The others were from times before and I just thought I'd share them again. I definitly want to do another but it will have to be later. I have a lot of errands to do today. Have a great day!

Here's mine, and it's a two-parter:
Cherish Outside
Cherish Inside
I have to give a big shout-out to TexasJodyLynn as the inspiration for this card. She sent me one in a package the other day and I loved the design and layout so much, I had to try my own!

Thanks for the challenge Julia, I love nap time too. But it is 'My nap time'. I could get a lot more done if I didn't need to take a little nap every afternoon. But I will try to fit in a card today.

Uh! I knew this day would come. I have to cut my designer paper. If I start to hyperventilate, I may have to use my non-SU mat pack paper. LOL! I'll take it one minute at a time. ;) First, I have to run some errands. Procrastination is a problem of mine. :p

Great challenge Julia,
I hope I can play today. I am feeling under the weather and should nap when baby naps as that is the only way my body fights off colds. Might have to do Wednesday and today's challenge on Friday when I do Friday's challenge.
Anyone got a good remedy for a very sore throat. I know about the salt water gargle so I am going to go and try that.
Cheers!

Here's mine--Not the most creative use of papers, but the striped paper was my inspiration for the choc chips and then the white gel pen marshmallows, etc.

I really enjoy these challenges. Thanks for another great one!!! I don't have much patterned paper so I was pretty limited in what I could do. Thankfully, yellow is pretty easy to match up.
Plaid Thank You

Oh Julia, this is the perfect push for me. I have gotten so many of our designers papers and have only used them a couple of times. I don't tend to use it much but always love the wonderful cards that I see others do. I can't wait to get off work and see what I can come up with. Thanks for the gentle push!!!
