Since there was a thread last week about vintage violet: love it/hate it......well, I just had to use it for CC75. So I tried to find a good color combo that was not the norm. I hope I succeeded here! Can't wait to see what y'all think and what you make with it!

Yep...Sherry will have several of these cards done tomorrow...now to figure out what to do without the violet! Maybe I have a some non SU paper that is similar!
Hopefully I can get a chance to play tomorrow. What should we use if we fon't have the violet?

Okay here is mine. This is the first time I have used this set (had to mount it to use it) and I think it turned out okay. I hope MeMaw really likes as it will be her birthday card at the end of the month!
Oh, goody! I'm one of those that love it! VIntage Violet and Marigold Morning are my top two of the in color family. The only problem is that I don't really have any. I think I can substitute, though...I'll post one tomorow if I come up with something--this is the most difficult challenge for me as my supplies are very limited, but I just love to see what everyone does!
Violet I love, Sage is just a so so color for me, and Caramel, just for aging, right?! Anyway, I haven't stamped in ages so this CC was a motivator for me.

Yeah! Thanks for posting early Emily! It's been a long time since I've been able to do a color challenge before I leave for work. And this was actually what I started last week with the creamy caramel and never finished, so it was easy to finish it today with Vintage Violet instead of Always Artichoke!
Emily, I love the new violet - I just did a card with it over the weekend in a workshop. Haven't done this combo - hopefully when I get home tonight from work, I can play. Barb

Here's mine...it's so much cuter in real life...I stamped the linen twice on the bg in both creamy caramel and vintage violate. My kitty had a rough day

Such a pretty color combo! I haven't been able to participate in the challenges lately, but I'd like to try this one. However, I don't have vintage violet. Can we use a substitute color?
