Thanks for the torture...um, I mean challenge! Heehee. Actually I have two cards sitting in front of me that had me baffled as far as what embellishments to use. Well, now I know what to do with them....NOTHING!
It ain't easy, but I can do this. Fun challenge, Beth. Here is a card from my gallery that fits this challenge, with the exception of the spiral clip. no layers card
wowza....this is going to be hard......I guess I am an embellisment addict.....a little bit her or there always finish off the cards and I can't think of a time I didn't at least use one extra layer.........this is truly a C-H-A-L-L-E-N-G-E for me...........thanks for getting me off track and in the wild on this one......happy stamping
Thanks Beth!! Wow!! It wasn't that long ago that all my cards looked like this...sooooo I just have to remember! Hope to get to play....got a lot on the list today!
Oh! This is my kind of challenge! ;) It may be hard not to add ribbon, but I can do it. I'll think about it in the doctor's waiting room. I wonder how long I'll have to wait today? I may come up with 2 or 3 ideas!

Fun challenge! Thanks Beth!!
I will of course try to think of a new one, but this is one from my gallery. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers I ruined the first one I did with hairspray (guess that is only for pastels on white?) so I redid with clear ep on the versamark, and the heat seems to have set the pastels a bit too.
I have come to the conclusion I am a ribbon addict. I tried to use ribbon three times when making this card! Here is my no layers, no embellishments try: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I think this card qualifies. I didn't use any layering or embellishments Beth. I watercolored directly onto a Strathmore card that I picked up at Hobby Lobby. I don't like it plain like this. I'm going to cut the front off the card and layer and embellish it. I love this set and look forward to making more cards with it. The card is a little dark, I painted black around the edges.
Can't wait to play..........this is my last week of challenges in the a.m. for a while. School for teachers starts next week too! Boo-hoo! I'm going to go through withdrawl I just know it. Maybe I can take ink and stamps to work and stamp on my lunch hour!! Things are looking up!
