Hello! I heard about this site from a friend and have been lurking here for quite awhile. I finally decided to create an album of my own and become a member here. I've found this site to be truly inspirational and helpful. I just LOVE everyone's cards here. They are fantastic. Anyway...about me...I live in Minnesota....any other Minnesota members out there?...I work full time and will soon be going back to school part time. So actually, I don't have a lot of time to be posting messages in the forum, especially if I intend to make all those creations I've been dreaming about. But I do hope to get involved in a swap or two...as soon as I figure out how to do that here.
My first album of which I am currently attempting to upload photos to and it is taking forever are some examples of no layer ATC cards. I thought these little pieces of art were a great idea and decided to start creating and collecting for myself. But I'm new to the idea so I don't know what makes a good ATC card. My daughter thought they were tacky...but then what does she know? LOL Anyway, I'd be curious to see what others think of the cards I created...honest criticism works best, but flattery never hurts (LOL). I'd love to hear about new techniques for making these cards. And of course, I love the little greeting card with the Stampin' Up rubber stamps and paper. I'd also like to get involved in a swap for those too.
Well thanks for reading my post and hope to hear from fellow crafters.
I am new here too. Tons of friends stamp and share on this site and I just had to check it out. WOW what a great place to learn and share. Now I am off to create a gallery, I think. This might take time, to learn.
Are there lots of stampers from MN on this site? It looks HUGE !

I live in Minnesota (Apple Valley) and brand new to this site as well. I love it already. So many wonderful ideas and I signed up for two card swaps. I hope you like it too Joy.
Thanks for welcoming me! I really do like this site. There are soooo many talented individuals here! By the way, Stampdog, I checked out your website. Really nice! Here is a sampling of some of my work I just uploaded.
That reminds me....I didn't know there was a no uploading on Sunday rule. Sorry but actually this is the only day I have for working on my projects. Hope it wasn't a big problem.

I am a newbie, too! While I am not currently living in Minnesota, I call the Twin Cities my home, having been born/raised in Minnetonka. Better yet, I went to college in Bemidji so I am excited to see there are some active members either currently living, or know about Bemidji!
Welcome to SCS Joy! I am from Lakeville, MN, a sub of the Twin Cities! We make the trek often through Duluth heading up to our favorite place, Lutsen! Stopped and had lunch at the Pikwik (spell?) in June and ate some yummy onion rings! My kids thought it was old and creepy looking, but what do they know, anyways! Well, enjoy your time here at SCS. You will learn SO much!!!
whoops....hit all the wrong buttons on that last one. I'm headed back to St. Cloud this fall. Not exactly sure when--as soon as the house sells. it looks like there are LOADS of us in MN, I am anxious to get there and start meeting everyone there. I know there are a few stampers from St. Cloud on this site; i started a thread to try to find some, and lo and behold, they were out there;)

I not from Minnesota but my husband has alot of family in Hibbing. His mother, 2 sisters, and lots of aunts and uncles. I have been to Duluth and my sister in law go there all the time shopping. Welcome to SCS!
Hi Joy,
I live in the St. Cloud area (central Minnesota, just off Hwy 10 and beside the Mississippi River...truly beside it, can cast a fishing line right from the deck if wanted to, but walking a few feet to the shoreline is easier if you actually catch something!).
I have been a SCS member for just over a year. But only have done less than 10 posts, so still have the cardstock collector tagline. I am a loyal SU customer and a sponge (meaning I soak up the information and tips here from all the wonderful members).
