We pride ourselves on being great hosts, but guests have limited access to some of our incredible artwork, our lively forums and other super cool features of the site! You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
The idea of the Inspiration Challenge is to train your brain to look at the world around you for ideas. You do *not* need to recreate the piece - let your creative juices run wild! Feel free to change the colors, adjust the layout, or pick a different theme -- this is all up to your own interpretation! There are no rules!
Please add IC36 to your keywords (do not use a space or #). If you have other keywords, use a comma to separate them. Adding the challenge number to the keywords helps us to see all the submissions together.
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday. You may upload until midnight Pacific time; after that, please either attach your card to this thread or wait until Monday. Thank you!!
I'm not sure I'll be able to play today -- very busy schedule -- but here's a card I did at Easter that I think qualifies for today's Inspiration Challenge.
Pretty inspiration piece Karen.
My wavy card is here. I went with the waves and some of the colors. I think because I just got the wave trimmer from CM and this was the first time I got to use it. What a fun little tool. And as always a fun challenge! Thanks for taking the time every week to keep us on our toes!
Ok, here's mine; now I have to hurry up and pack; we're going to the beach for vacation; do you think DH will notice if I pack a few supplies? Pencil-over burgandy.

I have never participated in the IC before, usually too busy Saturday mornings.
As soon as I saw the jewlery box I thought of the Souffle pens on dark cardstock. They sort of have those same bright colors. My card is nothing I would have come up on my own, really not my style, but I guess that is why we need to be challenged!!
I was inspired by all of the gold framing the box and the dense flower pattern. I liked this challenge because it made me think more traditionally vs. funky. TFL!
Happy anniversary!! (Mine is next week!) And Happy Birthday to your son!
Hi Sherri! Thanks so much for the happy wishes! I'm stealing a few minutes away from the family to see what's been posted so far today. I'm hoping to get my card finished and ready to upload on Monday.

Here's my contribution to today's challenge -- I loved the inspiration piece -- sometimes I look at them they say nothing to me -- this one just jumped up and called my name!!! It was fun. Here's my link:
I thought I'd give this challenge a try while my DH is taking a nap. I am not totally pleased with it. The Thank You should have beem place a little lower, too late the tape is down fo good!
So here it is. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.

Unfortunately, the gallery uploads are approved FILO - first in, last out - I know I've had mine languish for hours while others were uploaded. Hang in there! They'll have the queue cleared before no upload Sunday.
A beautiful piece for the challenge, Karen. So many pretty images to get inspiration from. I saw the enameled butterfly and flowers and the circle shape. Enameled Box

I finished mine this morning, but needed to charge my camera before I could take a picture. I combined mine with 2 other challenges. Here is circle of roses.
Just home from vacation........Now I get to play!!

Well, I liked the colors so I started there with the babywipe technique using bliss blue, barely banana and mauve mist. Used the Monarch Butterfly from Natures Sketchbook and stamped that on my marvelous color creation in black. Slapped that onto some gold cardstock for the border effect and then adhered that to some blue cardstock. added some ribbon that had blue pink and yellow in it and toped it off with some black eyelash, trimmed thelashes cuz they were a little long. God i have to stop taking LSD, lol.
NOTE: I decided I did not like the eyelash and took it off, this is the link to "no eyelash"
