Default Walmart find....colored staples

Hi Ladies,

Some of you may have already come across these and are aware of them. For those of you who are not here you go.... In the office section of Walmart they have colored staples, each package has 2,000 staples of one color for $1.24 per package. The colors I saw go with the following SU colors: Lilac, Tempt. Turq., Green Galore, Brilliant Blue. I'm not sure if other colors are available or not, as these colors were the only ones at the Walmart I was shopping at. Happy stapling!!

I also found colored staples at Target!! They were in the office section there too. 2000 count but these came in red, green yellow and blue!
Happy Shopping and stapling!!!

note: all four colors were in the same box

I saw these today at Michaels in the scrapbook section, mixed in with the eyelets and brads. The box said there were other colors available, but they only had the brights too.

I want to know too - what do you do with them? They're kind of fun, but I wouldn't want them on a card!

I've seen them used to staple a piece of folded ribbon to a card...can't remember where though...probably Stamp It or PaperCrafts...

How do you use the staples? I can think of some cute ways, but have never seen them used.

The staples seem to be a new trend on cards. Not sure if it's MY style though..... :?

Default Colored staples!

I have been using colored staples for years!! Recently I found some at Office Max and have also seen them at Target and Wal-mart like you others have found. I always use colored staples for treat bag toppers with the cello bags. I change the color depending on the season! My customers have come to expect it now which is funny! Then when my teenagers need to staple a report...all I seem to have are these colored staples! They are over it by now but it must raise some eyebrows at school!... Ha!

Aren't they awesome? I got some last summer at a stamp convention and I love using them with ribbons and tags. Thanks for letting everyone know. I didn't know they were at Wal-Mart!!!

Default Colored Staples

I found the colored staples at Wal-Mart last year. I am looking for the color red, but cannot locate that color for anything! Any luck finding them anywhere else that anybody can share with me?

I also bought some on clearance this week at A.C. Moore they were a package of mixed colors on clearance for 1.99
The colors were real red, glorious green, more mustard, ballet blue, and a cross between lovely lilac and eggplant envy. Thats as close as I can get to SU colors. The package only had 1,250 staples in it, but i think they will still last a while. They were made my "making memories"
