Now that we've had a little time to play with the new In Colors, I was wondering what cool color combos you all have come up with that include the new In Colors line.
I'm also bumping. This would make a nice challenge, don't you think? I just purchased all the papers and inks and would love to see some sample cards with different color combos.
I used cool carribean like crazy with Turquoise & White for awhile. Then I put it with Chocolate Chip and Celery - which I loved. This card in particular. I'm also loving the vintage violet, but I haven't ventured past using it with ivory and black yet. This weekend I'll make myself use all the new colors, or my violet and carribean will be gone in a week!

I haven't uploaded cards yet, but I did one with cool caribbean, Not Quite Navy and Baroque Burgandy for those of you still hoarding it. Also Vintage Violate with Mellow Moss and silver emboss is lovely!!!
I haven't had enough time to play with them yet so I'm sure there will be lots more to come as we all dabble!!

But I have also added TONS of cards to my favorites with new color combos! and I just got the "At Home" SImply Scrappin kit today from the Man-in-Brown and I love those colors and the kit is SOO good! It has Sahara Sand, Choc. Chip, Buckaroo Blue, and Cranberry Crisp - I can't wait to use those colors! I also really like the colors in the "Tickets and Tokens" Kit.
Oh....great thread. I did a card with Thyme, Marigold, Cranberry and Carribean. I loved the look. I love, love, LOVE Marigold. What a rich yellow that is. I am already mourning that we only have it for one year.
recently I did a card that had Cool Caribbean, black, kraft and rose red...I used Cranberry crisp to stamp on the Rose Red and it came out great - a tad darker then a tone on tone effect - I need to upload it

I can not wait for my IN colors to get here...TOMORROW!!!!!!!! WOOOOHOOOOOO I hope the kids can feed themselves on Sat cause Mamas stamping the day away!

Keri, are you able to scan and post that card? That combo seems just yummy!
I ordered all the papers, ink pads and reinkers, so I'm set to go!
I have all the new colors in ink and paper...I love them all except for Violet CS! I think it's an awfully drab color...not at all like any violet flower I've ever seen, that's for sure! I'll try it with Amethyst to see if that changes my mind. I hope so, or I'm stuck with an entire package of it!
I think Marigold is my absolute favorite! I'll be stocking up on that this year! I'm a Leo,the warm colors really do it for me!

YEAH!! My paper was just delivered, and I was not expecting it until next week. I also got the recollections paper, and an ink I didn't have so now I can try the neat combos you have all posted.
Ok, what does "bump" mean? Sorry, I am still learning the lingo in here. Thanks!--Jeannie
bump just means that someone is "bumping" the message to the top of the message board. By doing this sometimes it brings more attention to the message thread.
Now I know this is going to sound a little strange but for what I was doing it made sense. Cranberry Crip with chocolate chip looks nice. I was using bareback and had colored the horses in bravo burgundy with not quite navy as the sky and old olive as the ground.
