I have heard so many of you talk about the stamp pad organizers and so I went to the ebay site and they look great and I was thinking about ordering on but I went on to see what people said about them that had them and every one seemed really pleased except one lady said that she loved hers but her SU pads didn't fit in it. I am confused. Do the rest of you who have these organizers have SU pads?
There is a woman by the name of Sue Nagel...Her website is www.stampinthings.com...Her stamp pad holders hold stampin up pads...The holders are made out of wood and the craftmanship is unbelieveable...She is very nice to work with..She takes check and credit cards. She also makes items that hold our paper, wheels, sizzix die machine and many others. I have many of her items and they are great. If you have any questions, please ask...Good luck...Jen
Ditto regarding Sue Nagel. I have 2 of her stampin things for the old size pads and have an order in for 2 of the Elites (for the new size pads) as well as her Ribbon and Things. Her products are top notch!
I got the 70 ink pad holder from ebay craftsolutions. I am very happy with it. It fits flat against the wall and dosen't take up a lot of my desk space. It is well made and cheap. The ink pads hangout on these, but they do not fall out and are very easy to get in and out. It's not fancy but it does the job perfectly.
I ordered & just received an all wood spinning carousel from this site on ebay - remember the prices are in canadian so they are less than that if you are in the US! & yes the SU pads fit GREAT! I love my new pad holder
Well, I went to the Fellowes website to post a link for you to see. It was for the Cassette Holder a bunch of us bought, but we wiped them out! What a bummer, it holds 100 of the new style stamp pads! I have about half old and half new, but got it because I know eventually I'll have all the new ones and now I'm glad I did. But, there is one listed on eBay at this link, only $3.99 for now.

Just wanted to say that I bought one of John's carousels with holes for reinkers... it took a long time to get here... but it was worth it.
John's are aesthetically the most pleasing, IMO. His family has been doing carpentry for generations... so he has a real eye for making quality stuff that looks good.
JSYK I had one made through my son's woodshop class at school. I gave them all of the dimensions.
It holds all of the craft pads on one side, classics on one, Spectrum and Kaleidacolor on one, and Encore, TopBoss, ColorBox, VersaMark, etc. on the other [holding 150 pads]. It is mounted on a heavy duty lazy susan and has an open top area with a lip for storage.
This is solid wood with fiberboard dividers and is very heavy. This was not cheap! It cost me over $75 just in materials - which I went out and picked out myself. I paid the students in cookies
Keep that in mind when you find other contraptions to store your ink pads. The way I feel about it is if they are not convenient, they won't get used.
Just an idea...but I got my cassette holder for free from freecycle.org
It's a website thru yahoo and it's like a free garage sale. You post what you are looking for, i.e. cassette tape holder...and someone may be just wanting to clean out their attic and give it to you for free. Great site, and organized by geographical areas. Check it out...may find a treasure! Good luck!
LOVE LOVE LOVE Sue Nagel's Elite. She is wonderful to work with and if you live in Minnesota near the twin cities, she will let you come pick it up instead of pay for shipping.
I bought one from Craftsolutions off of E-bay and I love it...the new SU pads do not fit in sideways so they sort of "overhang" in front (I would say maybe 1/4 of it sticks out) but it makes it super easy to grab what you need. My Versamark and staz-on pads fit sideways in the one I got.
I got the one that only has 25 slots for ink pads as I am just starting to buy full sized ink pads and I know I won't be buying all the colors (I am definately not a rich regals fan and some of the SS colors seem funky to me) I love the shelves on top - great for storing little thing you need alot...
I have limited space and I didn't want a carosel one or one with a bajillion spaces for ink pads.
With S&H I think my price came out to under $40 - well well worth the price.
I just checked and it looks like they are sold out - they don't have anything up for sale now

Yes, wright1, I bought my stamp pad holder from Zanes. And I love it. He was very nice to work with, made exactly what I wanted, and it was not expensive at all, even with shipping. He keeps in touch with you through email, too. Highly recommended.
One of my friends recommended this site: http://www.rubberstampstorage.com/ I haven't gotten any pad holders yet, since I only have 2 sets of the big pads and working towards getting them all eventually
I read the site all the time and find the most interesting ideas. I have a stamp pad organizer that only cost me $4 and holds 30 SU! ink pads. Take a standard photo organizer and stand it on end with the smallest side as the base. Load 15 pads on each side and Whalla- it holds 30 pads. I just started on box 2 since I only have about 40 pads.
Mine sits on the desk at the moment but the photo boxes are a thick material so I could probably mount them to the wall by putting a washer and screw through the back.
I would load a pic but since we've moved the DH cannot find my USB cord to the digital to upload my images!
I checked out the link Kerry D-C gave to cdjdesigns portable pad carriers and their products look like just what would suit me. Does anyone have the carousel holder? Is it stable and does it turn easily? Also, Kerry if you see this--Is it easy to get the stamp pads out of the holders with that little lip? Do you need to fumble around at all to get them out? Thanks for the input!
I bought a deluxe caddy from www.hankswoodcrafts.com, and LOVE it! It holds 70 stamp pads and, of course, it holds the SU pads. Hank was very pleasant to deal with and a great communicator.
I purchased the stamp pad organizer (www.stampinthings.com) and I don't care for it. If anyone is interested in purchasing it from me for the cost of what I paid for send me a private message.
