Default HI EVERYONE!

Hi! My name is TAM and I am excited to see all the cards people have made! I need some inspiration and ideas. I am a SAHM with 2 small (busy) boys. Looking forward to meeting people. :P

Does anyone here do ATC's?

Have a great day!

TAM

Hi TAM!

Welcome to the most addicting site on the web! I am waving at you from Wenatchee, WA, but I used to live in Portland! (Well, really near Hillsboro and Beaverton, but close enough!)

I love how you use the aeronautical call signs for your name, are you a pilot?

What are ATC's? Teach us about them and we will try them! LOL!

I hope you find much inspiration on the site! There are a lot of really cool SCS members from the Portland area, too!

Hi Tam

Welcome. What is ATC? Please share. There are the nicest people and it's so fun to cruise the forums. Sometimes I forget to stamp I get so involved in what everyone else is doing.

Default Thanks for the welcome!

I am not a pilot but I grew up on an airstrip and my dad and uncles are pilots. I grew up in Hillsboro!

ATC's are artist trading cards, there is a web site called nervousness.org that I am trying to become a member with, they do LMAO's, land mail art objects. Before a week ago I never heard of any of that kind of thing. I thought maybe I just missed it but I guess alot of people haven't heard of any of that??!! Anyway, I still like card making the best. Being able to make someone smile with a card feels good !!

Ooo! I LOVE ATCs! I haven't made any myself, but have always wanted to(I am into other kinds of altered art). For those who don't know, ATCs are artist trading cards. They're cards(sized like playing cards) that you stamp/make/alter/whatever and trade with other artists(stampers).

Do you do ATCs, TAM? If so, you should upload some to the gallery so people can get an idea of what they're like! Welcome to the board!

Hey guys,

Catie is hosting a trading card swap. There are still a couple of spots open. Check out the swap forum.

Default Question!

I have a question! When I load my cards I don't know what category to put them in....I use mostly Stampin up supplies but usually I mix it with other stuff, should I just stick em under member gallery or what??

Thanks, TAM

Maybe put them in the "Anything but a Card" category?

DId someone (or is someone going to) post a demo for Trading Cards? I wouldn't want to join a swap unless I knew what was going on.

Shannon: Nice to meet ya!

Genevieve: I don't see any cards posted in anything but a card but I could post my ATC's for people to see there?? should I put cards there too?

Mschoener: I will post my ATC's, "anything but a card" tomorrow.

If you used Stampin' Up stamps on your (greeting) cards, you can post them under the name of the set you used. If you used non-SU stamps, I think there's a non-SU gallery, otherwise just post them in member galleries. But I think ATCs would definitely qualify as "anything but a card." Can't wait to see them!
