Default Cheap Mono, envelopes, etc. (aka Viking.com)!

I'm sure this is old news to most of you, but for those of you that haven't heard about the awesome deals on www.viking.com, they're an online office supply place that has mono adhesive, invitation envelopes, the RSVP pens & notepads that ladies here have been decorating & even the Fiskars Personal Portable Trimmer from the current SU catalog at incredible prices!

Here are the current sale codes, along with the regular & sale price. If you try a code & it doesn't work, try changing the prefix to one of the ones listed further below. And thanks to all the ladies that supplied this information previously on this list...I do not take credit for finding this...I just wanted to share it with people that don't know about it yet!! Plus, it'll be nice to have it all in one place again.

Mono Adhesive:
QL2-62201 - Dispenser - $2.98 (reg. $5.99)
QL2-62202 - Refill - $1.88 (reg. $3.79)

Envelopes:
QL2-505677 - WHITE $3.98 /box of 100 (reg. $9.20)
QL2-423211 - IVORY $3.98 /box of 100 (reg. $10.07)

RSVP pens:
QL2-091-BK - $.38 /each (reg. $1.02)

Jr. Legal Pads - white:
QL2-08811 - $4.88 /doz (reg. $16.50)

Fiskars Personal Portable Trimmer (the same as in the SU! catalog)
Q02-682712 - $21.99 (reg. $24.95)

Scotch Double Stick tape refill 900":
QL2-665-26 - $2.48 (reg. $5.88 )
Fits in this desk-type dispenser Q02-C60-ST: for $2.89 (reg. $7.72)

You get Free Shipping on orders over $25, and QO1-PR20 is a previous code for a $20 off coupon for orders over $50. That code did not work for me on the website tonight, but I called my order in and told them it wasn't working & she deducted it off the price of the trimmer! Their shipping is also overnight! QJ1-PRD15 is a code for $15 off of $150.

AndyJoe posted this info once before:
Quote:

Here are the prefixes that sale price has come up under at one time or another, if one does not work try the next.
QL1
QP2
BLN
QL2
ALN
AL2
I played around looking at other items like little jewelry-sized envelopes & stuff and by changing the prefixes, some of those came up with sale prices, too!

People here have also gotten terrific deals on the PrismaColor Pencils. Someone else want to add that info here? What else have you gotten from Viking?

Rats...I just realized that by phoning my order in, I didn't get to use ebates.com (a website where you sign up, order stuff through their site & get paid back cash rebates!). They pay you back 4% for using Viking.com! If you decide to sign up there first, if you'll use me as your referral, I'll get $5 for each referral (I always feel like it's sneaky or something to not tell people you're gonna get rewarded for referrals). Click here to use me: http://www.ebates.com/affiliate_land...et&refpageid=1 or go to www.ebates.com and sign up.

Hope this helps someone else!! Thanks again to all the people that shared it before!!

They don't ship to Alaska!!! In the past I have had to have someone on this board order the stuff for me and have her send it to me. Very inconvenient.

I didn't buy the little jewelry-sized envelopes. I'm not creative enough to think of things to do with them. I was looking for white ones for gift-card sized cards to attach to presents & did think about using the kraft ones, but chickened out. Everything I make is very basic. When I set up my gallery, I'll have to call it "Super Simple" or "Not Really Stamped By A 6yo".

And thanks, Sara, for the referral!! :-D

So tell me more about ebates... I ordered from Viking last week and ended up with my mono refills costing $1.04 each after all the codes I used! How does this ebates thing work and does it just work with Viking?

From what I saw - there is a bunch of sites listed. When you want to order - go to the www.ebates.com page and sign in. Then click the link from their site to the site you want to order from. Then you get your rebate. The other bonus is that you can have the rebate go directly to PayPal.

Go to www.ebates.com to see a list of all of the sites that you get rebates at. They cut you a check (or deposit it in PayPal) every quarter, unless it's less than $5, which they'll carry over to the next quarter. Really works!

Just got done ordering and the $20 off code wasn't working and she took my order over the phone made it work...but didn't give me the code.
She did ask if I had used it before...that may make a difference.

I LOVE VIKING!!! I save SOOOOOOOO much money I can order more SU stuff!!
The double sided tape and dispenser were AWESOME prices..thanks for that input.

Does anyone have the codes for the RSVP pens in Fine point?

Thanks for the codes. I ordered a bunch of double sided tape yesterday at 10:00 am and they delivered it at 1:15pm! This was my first order with Viking. I had to call to get the $20 off.

I called them, and she asked me where I got this code for the 20 off of 50. Told her it was from a friend, and she said those are not transferrable, so would not take it. Any suggestions? It added the code to my cart, but did not take it off of the total at the end. If anyone has a 20 off of 50 that will work on-line, please post. Thanks everyone for all the great deals and ideas. Now if I could get the 20 off of 50, I would be so so happy (and probably could even have more evidence to justify the latest purchases to DH).

When I called to get the $20 off she asked where I got the code and I said "online". I gave her the code DZ2-PRD20 and she said she had to verify the code to make sure it was still valid. My invoice shows that they took the code and that $20 was taken off.

I just requested some of their catalogs online. Is this where everyone gets the original codes or are they mailed/emailed to certain customers?

Default RSVP pens from Viking?

I ordered RSVP pens from Viking, and it looked like they were $0.38 for a box of 12, regularly $1.02 for a box of 12. But when I ordered 4, I received 4 single pens, not 4 boxes. Just wondering if this is the price everyone else had paid for the pens, $0.38 each single pen??

When I first started this thread, I'd just gotten off the phone with them, placing my first order. It's supposed to arrive today, so I'll post & let y'all know how many pens I get. I only ordered 2 (boxes, I thought!). I hadn't heard about anyone else having that problem, though, so I'd call them if I were you.

Sorry......

I just checked the Viking site, and while the link for each product name does say "box of 12", they price and sell the pens individually. If you want a full box, you have to order 12 pens, not "1" as in "one dozen."

Does anyone know if they are offering any free gifts with purchase of $25 or $50.00? Let me know, because I am going to put an order in soon.

Thanks

Next to the price of the pens, it does say "each", but in the description it says "12 of one color and point size per box. Full boxes only." I can't imagine that they normally sell those pens for $1.02 each (or over $12 a box!).

OMG!!!

The same thing happened to me trying to order online. So, I called and the CS rep said no problem and put me through to a sales person. She told me I could not use any of the order numbers for Tombo because they are not online codes...then gave me a hard time about the coupon too. I said I had gotten the coupon online and she wanted me to email her a copy of it!!!!

Then she had the nerve to say I was rude to her and would not give me her name or a supervisors name!!!!! It took a total of 25min to order 5 items....will never use this company again!

I used the codes from the start of this thread and they all worked as
of 2/7. But I called to get the $20 off..I just told them I had had the code and it wasn't working, she made it work and everything went through.

Sorry that you had a bad rep. I love the company and the speed of the ordering. Please try them again...you can't beat the prices anywhere.

genefer, I bet you can call back to reference your order and someone can look up the employee that took your order in the first place. that's ridiculous. I've usually heard only positive things about this company, and my experiences have always been good. If they have someone representing them that way, they need to know about it.

My stuff just came in & there were only 2 pens (not 2 boxes). I called CS & she was really nice, but she said that the price was indeed .38 per pen, but that they were supposed to be sold in boxes. She said it was an internet problem. She wanted to know if I wanted her to send the other 10 pens (and charge me for them) and I told her that I wouldn't have knowingly paid .38 per pen, let alone the $1-something that they were listed at regular price....I could get them MUCH cheaper at Walmart. She said she understood, but that they were indeed supposed to be on sale at .38 each.

Sorry, everybody. I compiled that info from many previous posts...I don't know if they used to get them for .38 a box, but we can't anymore. :(

Leslie, who's happy with everything else I got from them (and will be saving those two pens for special occasions )

I want to stamp a memo cube for some friends ... I'm just beginning not stamping on cards.. so this will be the test.

Where do you find white memo cubes to stamp on? I'm trying to find them at Viking - but I don't see them .. the ones I am coming up with are all colored.

Any ideas?

Thank you,
Sara

Where do you find white memo cubes to stamp on? I'm trying to find them at Viking - but I don't see them .. the ones I am coming up with are all colored.

Any ideas?

Thank you,
Sara

I just called and they said the $20 off deal expired on Tuesday. Has anyone else gotten $20 off after Tuesday??

I am soo mad I came into this late!

Also, do the monos at Viking match the Stampin Up ones exactly?? I want to make sure they match exactly before I pass the info along...

Finally, one of the responses here said she got the monos for something around $1.08 a refill - how on earth do you add codes and get to that price? You are my god!!

I've seen these posts about the great deals at Viking, but when I go to their site and enter the codes into the search box the item comes up (usually under a different code #) but not the great price. Is there a trick here that I don't know about? Any advice?

Sometimes the discount doesn't show up till you enter the checkout process. Try adding the item to your shopping cart using the special code. Also, when you go to check out there is a box that lets you enter any special deal codes you may have.

Something I discovered on my recent Viking order -- they box the mono refills in sets of 6! I ordered 7 refills along with some other things I needed, and got one box and one loose refill. So, if you tend to order lots of refills at once, get them in multiples of 6 and you'll have boxes to keep them in! That sure makes storage easier for me!
