Woo hoo! The challenge is here. Thanks Jeanne for stepping up. This will be fun since I only started doing the challenges a couple of weeks ago. I will have to go exploring. Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.
Jeanne....little sis, it's great to see you taking charge here! I do think that is because you are a DDD 'in training';) . This will be so much fun, except, now I have to choose...so many choices, oh my:lol: .

Started right at the top of the list with one I hadn't tried--Kissing.
I've seen it demoed and wanted to try one on my own. Tried to add a butterfly but it got a little over the top, so just stuck with the tulips. Thanks Jeanne for getting me stamping this morning. Tulips Kissed with Linen
Thanks Jeanne for filling in today. I chose TLC59 - Saran Wrap. Have wanted to do this again cuz I really like the effect. This card didn't turn out anything like what was in my head. (It was really pretty there... and this just isn't.) But I got to play with some new stamps and new paper so it's not all bad!
Here is my card: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I'm in... I picked a technique I'd never tried before, "Pencil Over," from TCL61. I'm a bit ambivalent on the results - but I'm sure the card will be used at some point - can always use a thank you card!
Edited to add (yay! editing!): I wanted to try another technique for the first time, so tried paper piecing. This technique, I ended up loving - hooray!

Back from my meeting and here it is!!! This was awesome today, I got to do a tech I have wanted to try, but never have, and also gets me to thinking about others.
I had never tried the Dryer Sheet Technique before. Here is a card I posted this morning -- TLC72 is not in the keyword (I'll edit it later), but I'll try a different technique tonight.
I am housebound with 2 kids with strep throat today so I was able to get two done for todays challenge. It was my first time for faux linen and it was the first time I intended to do shabby chic from the start...usually it just evolves into it. Thanks for looking...I am really trying to improve and appreciate any feedback any of you experts would like to share.

okay, I hope this is alright. I came up with this technique last year playing around. If it is already someone else's famous technique, forgive my ignorance, please I forgot to tell in the details that the green part is my lovley finger print technique!
