My upline (whom I affectionately call my "yoda!") introduced me to this site three months ago when I first became a demo. I have been addicted to the gallery ever since! My eyes were bleeding for that first week! I've been avoiding the forums, as I figure I can only handle so many addictions in my life, but gave in to the temptation last week while I was waiting on the new SU! catalog...big mistake! So I figure I may as well dive in head first! I'm loving being a demo, and loving all the help and advice on this site. I'm a pastor's wife, and a mother of three--so it's nice to have something that is all my own, you know?

Glad you're having so much fun Beth! I think I check this site out more than any I have ever had interest in. The topics are always so fun and new, and I cannot get enough of the techniques section as well as the gallery. Those gals are so talented!!
I have never joined any kind of thing like this before, but I have been drawn into this alternate universe that is paper crafting. I am excited that there are so many other people like me. I wouldn't call us freaks exactly, but I know that a new package of cardstock causes my heart to beat more quickly. I don't know if that can be considered normal, but who cares.

Hello and welcome hope you find all the" your" time and things you need... both of my brothers are Pastors, so I understand... creativity is such a positive way to vent... " Happy looking and stamping"
Beth,
Welcome to SCS from Northeastern Ohio. I, too, love being a demo. Stamping is a great stress reliever after an 8 hour workday. So glad you decided to jump in.
Terri
Absolutely! I often say that the best thing about stamping is that it has "nothing to do with Mininstry or Motherhood!" Don't get me wrong...I LOVE my church, and love being a pastor's wife...and my three kids are the center of my universe!! But, when I'm making a card, it's simply because I WANT to! It's not because anyone needs me to, or is expecting me to, or I have to have it done before service on Sunday morning...it's just for me! Anyway, thanks again to everyone here for all the inspiration!! One of these days I'll get up the nerve to add something to the gallery!
