Illinois Mini convention was a success

Thank you splitcoast for announcing the Can't Go to convention Illinois Mini Conventionthat was held on August 16. Connie from Glen Ellyn organized this event. It was held at a Holiday Inn. Over 60 stampers attended. A couple of ladies came from Stoughton, Wisconsin. We made 3 make and takes and Connie was very generous with prizes. There most of been 20 prizes given away!! Not to mention over 50 swaps were exchanged.The absolutely best part was that the table I was at,we had a group of stampers who fast became friends. We named our group the Su Snickerettes and plan on going to regional in Madison this fall. Personally, I have never laughed so much in a long time. We're all on scs now, so I hope that you too have an opportunity to meet with others who are stampin and having fun. I have to say that Connie out did herself on this mini convention. It was a terrific idea and a fantastic time. She is planning another one later on in the year...so anybody in Illinois...hope you can join in. I will have one of the snickerettes who is computer savvy download the make and take samples.

Yeah! I was there and it ROCKED! I had so much fun! It was my first swap-I just became a demo in June (i was the one who won the 1st prize for newest demo...)

Anyways...KUDOS to Connie! She did a fantastic job!
Everyone was so wonderful and TALENTED!

I hope this happens again...but I also hope to be at Convention next year! I will be at Regionals too.....

Yes, I was seated at the *fast-friends* table...too fun!!!
And I want to say thank you to Connie, the sweetheart that she is for putting that convention together. It was outstanding & she was more-than-generous w/her supplies, time, energy & free prizes she contributed.
I hope to see my *table* at Regionals in Madison this November b/c I'm sooo there!

Thank YOU Connie for a great time at the mini convention there were sooo many great ideas up on the boards and the fedexed stuff from convention using the new sets just makes me want to buy/sell more. Our table was truly unique and I look forward to hooking up with you guys in wisconsin. I have some scant knowledge of Madison from my college days I wonder how much has changed??? Hopefully there is no smoky places there though I'd hate to have Bev feel offended!!!

Thanks to Connie for organizing the mini convention and getting me hooked up with my new stampin friends. I had so much fun at our table that I laughed until my ribs ached and my cheeks were sore. Look out Madison, Wi....here we come!!
