I have searched the gallery and have found many lovely cards...I am hoping you can add to my list!! I am in need of very simple ideas that I can mass produce (read: I have ALOT of teacher gifts to make in the next week! ) into note card sets...I would prefer no layers just because I have alot to make and lack of layers will cut down on time and expense...I have already cased a couple, but after making 6 sets of them already I would kind of like to change things up a bit!!!
You could easily do this with no layers -- just stamp on a plain white card. I don't have Sweet & Sassy (although I did just order it!) but I cased this card using Shapes & Shadows.
This is a two color, no layer card -- the border is not a layer, but a line drawn by a brown marker. I like the way it came out. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Here are a few from my favorites. First, I don't have kids, so I don't know what exactly teacher gifts are (thank yous, b-day, variety?), but I figured I'd just share plain cards and you could adjust stamps, verses. Heck, there's even a pretty cool easter card I think you could adapt too below to whatever occasion you want. So, hope this helps.
I rarely do cards without some kind of layering or tags, but here are a few from my gallery that are pretty simple. Good luck to you. It sound like you have tons of work to do.
If you want beautiful simplicity then you need to go to JulieHRR! That woman can put one dot on a page and make it look fabulous!
Anyway, here are some that I made for my mom when my father passed away. She needed them quick so I thought of them, stamped them, and sent them all in the same day. I never did upload to SCS though. The celery and black embossed is my absolute fav!
Hope this helps!

Here's one from Onita that - to me - is teriffic with it's simple graphic quality plus it would be super simple to do and very flexible re: color and image

Here's one that I did using the floral bg. It is layered, but really easy ... I stamped a bunch and then cut them out while watching a movie. Then just glue that peice to 1/2 piece of cs. Add whatever. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Also by SSummerer...one of my all time favorite notecard collections. I have cased these several times, and they are always well received. If you have the chalk pads - that sets these off and gives them a soft, professional look to them.
OK - you guys are KILLING me. My middle name is "Plain Jane" and I had to look at every single one of these cards. And now I have a long list of sets I hope to get ! I would have to say that I really liked ALL of them. Nice work, all of you. TFS
At this rate, I'll NEVER get through the forums !

Oops...I hit post before I added my favorites. When I first signed on to SCS, these are exactly the types of cards I was drawn to (so my favorites folder is FULL of them, many of them y'all have posted here!).

Cathy, you said it well. Maybe I am not such a plain Jane, but I have certainly added to my favorites, and, yes... it is taking a long time to get through the forums!
