HI! I AM ACTUALLY OVER ON THE KANSAS CITY SIDE OF MO. BUT BE PATIENT AS I KNOW I HAVE SEEN A COUPLE OF LADIES THAT ARE LISTED AS NEAR ST. LOUIS! THEY WILL PROBALLY CHECK IN SOON AND READ YOUR POST. WELCOME TO SCS--YOU WILL LOVE IT! GINA
I am in Illinois, about 45 minutes from St. Louis, MO. I am in East Alton. I just discover this forum a while back and forgot all about it but now I am here
I'm out in Wentzville, Mo only about 45 miles west of St. Louis. I've been surfing this site for about 3 weeks now and have been jumping back and forth between discussions. This is my first posting so I'm excited! I knew that SU was fun but never knew this many people were out there. My new catalogs are set to arrive today. I'm going to try to rush home but have to stop in for my doctor's appointment before heading that way. Gee, I wonder if my blood pressure will be up?
I am actually in Maryland Heights. Have you guys found business to be good in this area? Are there a lot of demos - making it kind of saturated? Have you had any issues with finding hostesses? How about stamping groups? Are any of you involved in any?
I am considering becoming a demo - but trying to make sure it's really what I want before I jump in head first.
Thanks in advance for answering all these questions!
I can tell you there are a lot of demos, but at the same time it seems like we never bump into each other. My original dealer...err...demo lives north of 270/255 (toward downtown) and was driving the hour+ to DeSoto for parties b/c there was no one in the area. She got 2 downlines down there and I came off one of them. I know she's talked about living less than a mile from two other demos and never crossing paths with them. I now know of 4 other demos in Festus, but (until I met Susan here) didn't know anyone who knew them. My church is up off Butler Hill & 55 in South County and I'm not aware of anyone knowing a demo in there. My dh doesn't even know anyone at his offices (up by the airport) that know demos and his current two offices seem to have most of the woman of the corp.
Hopefully that will answer some of your questions... or maybe not at all, lol.
I work over on "The Hill", maybe we could have lunch together one day, I use to work off Metro Blvd and my boss lives in Maryland Heights! I've just started as a demonstator myself in May. The only problem I had getting hostess' is that my upline goes to the same church as myself and we ran in the same circles! But she's been very generous in sharing some of her gals. I just got 3 parties book in the last two days from past hostess' that are dying to get the new catalog.
Our church has now formed a group of ladies that stamp/scrapebook every 3rd Friday of the month. We also formed a ladies group especially for the summer months. We have one more meeting to go to in August and if you're willing to come across the river to St. Charles consider this your formal invite!
I live in St. Louis, right by Carondelet Park off of Holly Hills. This is in the city. There are a few demo's in this area, but we never run into each other. I love this board although this my first post. There are alot of great ideas and people here.
I am in Illinois right over the river in Collinsville, about 15 minutes from the Arch.
I don't really have a demo in the area that I am totally connected to, so if any of you do anything fun, PM me so maybe I can get involved.
