Ok I am hosting a contest like Lana’s last October!! Here is the gist of it. Send me your AWESOMEST CARDS EVER and one dollar per card. I will then set them up on display and some of my stamping and non stamping friends will vote on them… Once the voting has taken place I will send the cards to the troops! Surprise, Surprise, right? LOL So if you would like to take a few extra minutes to write a note to the troops please do so. If you are not into that idea I want you to know I will be adding a note into the cards as I would like to send at least 100 written in cards to the troops!!! They need to know we love and support them on a daily basis!! Now as for the prizes….
There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prize given! As well as a prize given for the person who sends the most cards! If we have enough participation I will also add a 4th place too!
The size of the prizes will depend on how many entries I have! My goal is to have AT LEAST 100 entries ~ Can we do it??? I think so!!!
Ok For the detailed details…
1. Send your most awesome cards Postmarked by the 15th of Feb to

2. Include one dollar per card and a note with your name, username, and email on it.
3. Mark the envelope to say something like, Troops Contest.
4. I will set up display boards and judging will take place the week of the 21st-28th.
5. I will post the winning entries to the Stamp Your Heart Out Gallery as well as the display board pics there too!
6. I will keep this thread updated as to how many entries there are and will also fill in the prize value once I have received all entries. Please do not worry about send it any other way than just first class
7. Once the contest is over I will place each card in a new envelope and box them up to go to the troops!
8. You may use any type of Stamps, CS, Ink, Embellishments, etc…it does not have to be SU exclusive.

So get off the computer and get stamping for our troops!!!!!

While I was cleaning out/organizing my craft crap (that is an AFFECTIONATE term for stamps, cardstock, all [well, not ALL ] the SU extras, paint, brushes, tools, stencils, unfinished projects, books, catalogs, yadda yadda yadda) this weekend, the thought crossed my mind that I should send you my extra cards so you could send them on to the troops... Granted, not all of them fall into the AWESOME category, but now I will enter them in your contest, along with a few new ones I have in mind as well!

IF you have a few extra envelopes they would be appreciated but not necessary. I know that the for some it would be harder to enter the contest if they had to send an extra envelope so I thought I would just get some extras next time I was out and have them on hand... AS stated in the original post, it can be any type of stamps, ,CS , Inks etc.. as well as the note can just to twll them that we love and support them and that our prayers and good thoughts are with them.

I believe they are any occasion you want to stamp for the troops to re-send out to their families. She did mention tucking in your own personal note to them also if you would like. Any products are fine to use. I just re-read her first post for my own instruction! Good luck and happy stamping!
