Default Question for Demos

I'm so impressed with how kind everyone is on this board. Even when ppl disagree in posts, it is done politely! How nice. I also feel a strong sense of pride and loyalty from the members of SCS. I love it!

I am not a demo, just a very good customer! I'm wondering what the advantages of this site are over the SU Demo Only web site. I know they have a gallery and message boards too...I'm guessing the people??

Just curious, since I don't have access to the SU Demo only web site.

TIA
Ashley

Default SU site

Well, there are a MILLION advantages to be a demo, but their gallery and message board leaves something to be desired, (although you don't know that until you find a site like SCS to compare it to!) The number of ideas posted there versus here and the ease of searching the gallery and finding topics in the forums and getting answers here far exceeds SU's showcase and message board, so I rarely use the SU site for their gallery or message board anymore. SCS really is all a stamper needs!

SU's card showcase only shows 3-4 samples per day. Here, unlimited, and being added all day long! Plus SU picks what samples are posted, here everyone can contribute, so it's not just one person's opinion what's worthy of being posted, there's something for eveyone. (I have sent many samples to their showcase and have never been featured, but I have been able to share a lot of my ideas with others here!) It is also limited in it's searching power, you can search by stamp set, and sometimes accessory but not always, but here you can search by just a color for example and it pulls up every card that uses it! Amazing!!!

The messages can take quite a long time to post, too on SU, whereas here it is almost in real time, and people answer your questions here usually in a matter of minutes or seconds! SU is also hard to search by topic, but this is very easy. SU also doens't have private messaging.

It really is incredible how much SCS has to offer, and is available for everyone to use! I definitely think any one who loves stampin' would LOVE being a demo, but you still need your beloved SCS to stay "plugged in"!

I must agree with Melanie - I think she hot all the hot spots - I have been a demo for a year and just found SCS 2 months ago - I check in to SU! demo page every day and spend about 10 minutes checking everything. Then I spend the rest of the day here! LOL

Good thing SCS is not illegal or I would be in jail for sure!

The Demo website is more formal. it has its own qualitys that will help you enhance your buisiness. tool, forms, techniques etc. i have to say that it is great.

this site is more personable.....you are able to post right away w/ no moderator...tons of ideas....INCREDIBLE PEOPLE!! I think haveing a mix of Demo's and customers makes this a special site. It should really be called......SAS

STAMPERS ADDICTED TO STAMPIN' UP!

I have noticed that i do more business stuff there and fun chit chat here.
