Okay, so my friend and SU demo, Mary, got me, Shellie, addicted to stampin' and now to the scs website. I've spent hours on it already gleaning inspiration from stampers that have far more experience than me. Who knew there were so many awesomely talented stampers out there! I'm looking forward to making new friends and advancing my card making skills. My challenge to myself - to not spend all my time on this website and forums and actually create something from the inspiration that is flooding my entire being :-D A little about myself- I've been married to my DH for 17 years and have 4 beautiful children. I've lived in Michigan, California, Virginia, Texas and now I'm back in Cali. to stay. As addicted to stamping as I am my passion is beads as you can see by my little poem. I'll eventually show you all some of my beadwork - on cards and other stuff too. Good day and God Bless!
Beads, beads what a wonderful sight, Sparkling and glistening in the light The more I see the more I need, There won't ever, EVER Be enough beads!!!!
Hi Shellie!
A huge welcome, have tons of fun, and don't feel too guilty being on this website...there are FAR worse addictions! ;)
Enjoy yourself! From Hawaii, Texas, Washington, and now Virginia...
Joni
Thanks for the warm welcome everybody. I'm going to spend a couple of hours browsing now......okay so maybe more than a couple :-)
My SU demo holds a stamping club once a month...and it happens to be this saturday. I can't wait to see what kind of project she has in store for us. It's always a little something above and beyond cardmaking. I'll try to take a picture and post it. My fairly new digital camera is playing hide and seek with me however, so I don't know if it will ever show itself for me to take pictures with it again. Wish me luck!
