This week's challenge comes to us from GarnetJ. Thanks so much for sharing it with us!
The challenge is to create an "Interlocking, Three-Panel Card"
Here is the website where you can find a sample card and the template. http://www.stampington.com/html/temp...late_fm06.html
I look forward to seeing all your creations!
As always, I am in search of suggestions for techniques for future TLCs! Please PM with suggestions and a link to the directions and/or a sample if you can. Thanks!
As always, if you have questions, please ask. If you have suggestions, please share!
When you upload, please put TLC67 in the keyword section when you upload, and then post a link to your card here in this thread.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us STAMPIN' !!
Very cool challenge Beth! I've never seen one of these. Will have to play tomorrow when I find some time! I also need some black ink to print out the template.:(
I would like to try. I have never done any of the challenges before. As a matter of fact, I only posted my first card on Saturday. But it always looks like so much fun. But I am not sure I can do this one. :???: I'm still a rookie. I have only been stamping for about 6 or 7 months. Now I am addicted and when I found this website, I was overwhelmed. What a great place to hang. Sorry, didn't mean to give my life story.

Just in case any one wanted to alter the sizes, I copied my template off at 144% to make fit a long envie. And I copied the template off at 110% to fit an invitation size (regular) envie. Hope that helps some of you. Now to put off chores so I can stamp a card!

Oh, I like this - saw it in the magazine and couldn't enlarge the template - I just finished my "Finger Card" (see my gallery please - 3 views) and now I can do this one before I have to do things like laundry - ugh!

Well, welcome to SCS and the challenges. I guarantee you if you "hang" with these awesome artists, you will improve daily. Hope to see you post a challenge each day!

Beth~ I was wondering, if someone can not print up the template for this interlocking card, could we substitute it for another? There is a really neat one by Cambria : Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I'm not trying to change the challenge (I promise! I'm really not!) but noticed a few posts with computer problems and thought maybe this would help???
Fun! I actually did one of these a little while ago (using the same template). The template was easy to use & it does make a cool card design. I will have to try another.
If someone is having trouble getting the template--I copied it into word and set the page landscape so it printed down the center of the page. I could email it as an attachment if you want. PM me if interested.
I figured out I needed 2 birthday cards and a maid to get the house cleaning done. Here is a card using the smaller sized template (enlarged at 110%). It actually fits in a regular sized envie so you could save your invitation sized envies for the quarter sheet sized cards. Is this making sense? Maybe some smart stamper knows the names of all these envie types...Please advise!
Well, I guess I can delete that one from my sketch file! I had it sent to me by Beth/stampsinblue and I think one other person also sent the site it comes off of.
That's okay Beth, I think they like the easier stuff for the sketch challenge. My torn corners sketch was a less active week but some great cards were produced from it.
This one looks like fun and I want to give it a try! Thanks for posting!

Well I got mine done, feels great to be back doing challenges again. This was a challenge for me, I tried three time to print out a size template that would work. This fits a standard size envelope. Just a little skinny. Lots of fun, thanks for making me think Beth. So here it is.
Beth - thank you for this phantastic challenge. I do this 2 weeks ago for a masculine birthday. (Sorry I forgot to scan the inside... ). Outside I used my new sunshine gift set and Phoebe alphabet. Monogram is computer generated and cut out.
