I'm new here and was wondering how you get the titles under your name. Mine says 'Cardstock Collector' which is actually quite appropriate as I love to scrapbook and have purchased a ton of pretty paper and cardstock over time!
Also, what does CASE mean? To copy something?
Lastly (for now anyway!) what does DH, DD & DS stand for? Based on how they were used I believe it's for husband, daughter and son. However what does the 'D' stand for? When I thought of my husband the first thing I thought of was 'darn' but knew that couldn't be right!
Sorry if these questions are redundant and have been asked before but I'm still learning how to navigate around this site. Thanks for all your help!

Wow are you ladies quick! I just finally found my post to make sure my avatar worked and I already got a reply! Thanks for the response Happy Heart! And I think I like 'copy and share' better than the 'copy and steal'. Seems much nicer!
Now, on to see if my card uploaded into the gallery correctly!

Welcome!
Some of us tend to go up in ranks WAY faster than others, right Joleenie?!?

I've just joined too and have the same questions with all the neat little notes and the name to the left I am also noted as a cardstock collector this works for me. I haven't shared of a site before this one so I feel like a fish out of water. But, love what I have read. I would also like to join a swap sometime but haven't figured that out yet either. But I will... I appreciate all of you who have put this wonderful site together. I know I'll be sharing allot. I would also love to know how to post a picture of myself as it feels so personal when you see a picture of the person making the post. Great idea! Love that new catty.

Thanks Joleen for listing the Ranks! They are very cute and funny! Has anyone made it to Mad-Swapper status yet?
Oh yes there are most definately some Mad-Swappers out there. I look to those few as the heart & soul of SCS. You will come to recognize them very quickly.
I would probably have gotten that far by now if wouldn't have lurked for almost the entire first year I was here!! Oh well... posting a lot now.. and soon will be ready to graduate to the next level!!! lol
You all are so funny! I am so glad that you posted that list again....or that I found it again I guess b/c I knew I had read it but could not find it anywhere!!!
Thanks for sharing that list.
I was wondering if we were grouped by geographical area or assigned to secret societies!
I have not used glitter since I was a third grade teacher 16 years ago...maybe I should try it!
Michelle
Ok...thanks for the encouragement!
I needed that.
One "newbie" question...just to make you laugh... How do you apply glitter?
After you stamp?
THanks...
Michelle
There are many ways, my favorite. Is stamp your image. then either stamp it again with the same stamp or with the 2step (with versamark) that coordinates, apply heat and stick powder and heat and then apply glitter and heat to set. Also you can use the crystal effects as a good adhesive!!! I love the 2 step one with the heat and stick powder the best. It is awesome!!! I have totally fallen in love with it...it adds a great touch without a hassle!!!
I'm so glad you posted that list as well. Poor Keri! Here I am thinking she gave me that nickname and I couldn't figure out how! I'm new here, too, and I don't come on often enough yet to have learned all the lingo, but you all are so great...keeping up with Keri and all. You think she is sweet from "knowing" her from SCS. In reality, she is an angel. I've known her just over a year, and I've never met anyone like her. If you need something in a pinch, she's there for you. KERI--YOU'RE AWESOME! CONGRATS ON COLTON AGAIN! We'll come see you when you get home!
Still being a Newbie here, the more I read the more I learn! I'm glad others are asking some of the questions I have!! Thanks for all the explanations of what the codes and abreviations stand for!
I was thinking about becoming a Demonstrator but am a little shy, and am fairly new in my area without alot of friends to enlist. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
Hoping to connect with some other Happy Stampers in the central MA area!
Thanks!!
Lisa
