Question Craft Ink Problem

I recently made a card where I stamped a first layer that was embossed and then wanted to stamp another layer on top with white craft ink. The white craft ink WILL NOT dry!. I have done everything I can think of - except use the heat embossing tool a second time because I am afraid my first layer will remelt and "absorb" my white craft ink. Has anyone ever had this problem?

How long has it been? I've seen craft ink take a couple of days to dry -- depending upon humidity, etc.

It has been about 18 hours and I use a hair dryer to try to help it along. I'll try to be patience (not one of my better qualities when it comes to crafting - I want to see it NOW!) and see what happens.

It may never dry -- craft ink doesn't do well on nonporous surfaces, which is what you created when you did the embossing and then tried to stamp on top of it.

I would emboss the second layer with clear embossing powder and heat. This should allow the white ink to dry immediately.

Have fun!
