I hope it's okay that I am posting this. I posted some tote bags in the gallery that I made using the template from the March issue of Paper Crafts. A couple of people were looking for the template. Here it is.
** PLEASE NOTE - TO OPEN THE PDF FILE, YOU NEED TO RIGHT CLICK ON THE LINK AND CLICK 'SAVE TARGET AS'. SAVE IT TO YOUR COMPUTER AND THEN OPEN IT. CLICKING ON THE LINK WILL NOT WORK. **
Thank you soooo much for sharing this. The March issue never made it to my house (out there in la-la land with a few missing Mini catalogs and Stampin' Success magazines).
Thanks, everyone! I love this template and have really enjoyed making them. The best thing about it is that it fits 4.25 x 5.5 cards perfectly.
One thing I forgot to mention in this thread but it is in my gallery post is that I made my straps out of a second piece of paper - each strap is 1/2" x 11". The ends attach to the inside of the bag with brads. Then the two straps down each side of the bag are out of another 1/2" strip.
Thanks so much for the template and I was just wondering about the straps and then I read on down where you addressed that as well. How sweet and thoughtful of you to share all of this info. MomD
Thanks so much for taking the time to give all the template. It is so awesome. I just used SU's double sided paper from the spring mini for my stepmom. I used the tag punch for a tag on the front. Thanks again

I love this one! Unfortunately I wasn't able to connect to the link to download the template. I would really appreciate it if someone could email it to me, [email protected] , Thanks so much!
I LOVE this little tote bag!! I'm dying to make it. However, I couldn't open the link. Can someone email it to me at [email protected]. I've searched the internet and paper crafts site, but I couldn't find the template. =( Please help! Thank you!
Kristen
Did you ladies who can't it try right clicking and then clicking on "Save Target As"? PDFs in Adobe seem to work this way. Wish I figured this out by myself, but I found the hint.....on you guessed SCS. Good luck.
Thank you so much! I've been looking everywhere for the March issue and haven't been able to find it. I can't wait to get started making some of these!

That is a WONDERFUL pattern!!! Thank you so much for sharing. I usually go out and buy this magazine myself...but I forgot all about it the past couple of months!!!
Tanya - I have emailed it to you. Not sure if you tried it or not, but to open pdf attachments you have to save target as and save it on your computer first and then open it. It won't open if you just click on the link. Hope this helps, Jen
I tried to open the attachement with the 'open target as' and that wasn't even listed. Can you please email it to me? [email protected] I love these, and need to get going on teacher gifts!! :-O

Julie - the template isn't actual size because I had to make it slightly smaller to make it fit an 8.5" x 11" page with margins for the pdf. Just follow the dimensions on the template. It's really easy when you do it - just a couple of score lines, a couple of cuts and it's ready to assemble. Hope this helps, Jen

Thank you for posting these instructions! I have been trying to figure out how to make one of these ever since I saw yours in the gallery.
THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!!
This is why I love SCS you find so many awesome ideas and great people who are willing to share their projects!
Thank you so much for posting the instructions for making these totes. I made some tonight and they came out soooo cute! Inside each tote is a coordinating set of notecards and a beaded pen. I made these as thank you gifts for people that helped me with a church project.
Thank you for posting! I thought...oh darn I should have bought that issue. Used your template this weekend for a card order...turned out great! Then was cleaning up and I HAD bought that issue!! Would have never known it! Thanks again for posting. Your purses turned out sooooo cute!!
Silly me, I was double clicking on your attatchment and it opened to nothing. Didn't realize I just had to right click on the actual attatchment above! Now I'm off to make one--thanks so much! Nancy
