------------ THIS WEEK:
Here’s a sketch with the option to tear, cut or even use decorative scissors. But I’d say the sketch is a design that’ll get your fingers working and be creative with no special tools needed. If you’re not good with tearing edges feel free to cut it.
To print this layout: - (nc means no color) If you see a small layout click on it or if you see an icon click on the words next to it.
-When the black surround screen appears click only on the layout and a white screen with the layout should appear.
-Right click and click on print from the pop up box or hold down your shift key and P key at the same time.
-Now you're ready to choose print and it should print to actual size of the card depending on your computer.
I've had a few request for these techniques used in this card so I'm linkiing directions for everyone here.
Oh this is a fun technique but a little messy so be prepared. I'm linking both the bubbles and the balloon with rice.
Both were fun to do and here's a few tips, blow very lighty thru the straw to get smaller bubbles for better results. My card for VSN Kurtis has his linked so check them out also
Use a small amount of rice in the balloon to use as your tool. Mine was only about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2" across once filled. My card for VSN
If you have any other question just ask and I'll try to answer.
Fun sketch! I can't sleep so I may just tackle this tonight. Of course I still have RAK's to stamp too. I'm such a slacker! O.k I know! I will stamp RAK's done with this sketch! Two birds... one stone!

Cooooool Rox, thanks for the great sketch. I love tearing....I'm so on this....but not until tomorrow night though :( Have fun y'all and I look forward to seeing what you come up that I can CASE. LOL. See ya in the forums.
I'll be able to play again! I'll be at camp all by myself, so can lay out the supplies and stay messy for a few days! I'm missed doing the sketches and being creative.
Hi Wendy!! I do the challenges...they're usually about a week late and they don't get posted :-) There are many of us who get inspired by all the great cards the rest of you post!! Thank you, everyone, for sharing all your awesome work!!
(OK, I'll try to do better!! I made one yesterday with last week's sketch, so I'll go post it.)
I was so excited to see that cardsbycarla was used as the inspiration for this challenge. I LOVE Carla's work, it's the kind of stuff you could look at 10 different times and yet keep finding something new! Well, my card in no way compares to Carla's art, in fact it is so simple . . . there are no layers at all!!! At least no layers that are "real!"
Rox, thanks for hosting this challenge...it was a fun one. I had to do one before leaving to go to a friend's house (SCS pal, also) to stamp all day long...I will have to make another one at her house. Here is my card:
