Default Let us look at your projects using Cornish Heritage Farms backgrounders!

Hi everybody, I have been trying to make some decisions on which of the many wonderful Sonlight Impressions backgrounders sold by Cornish Heritage Farms I should prioritise buying. It has been a little difficult to find them in the gallery because many people will put "non-SU" instead of listing the company name for non-SU stamps. So, please post links to your creations using these wonderful backgrounders here and help make money fly out of my wallet! :-)

So far I have the Weathered and Weave backgrounders; here are links to cards I've made using them.
Weathered Mother's Day
Weathered and Weave masculine bird bday
Weathered and Weave Snoopy bday

Your cards look great. I really like the mothers day card. I just added a couple to my gallery but they're pending approval. If I can figure out how to link, I'll do that here.

Mahloumel,

I'm so glad you have taken the time to do this. It will come in handy when I have time to stamp again.

Thank you!

Great idea--thanks for gathering up some cards to view! I only have the Paisley stamp so far, but I'd love to order a few more, and these samples will help me decide, I hope! Here's my fav card made with paisley backgrounder:

Okay, here are mine. I am a little obsessed with the Paisley! It just goes with everything! I just lately stared using my Weathered BG and I haven't even used my Victorian Floral yet. Too occupied with the Paisley I guess!

Wow, that's a lot of Paisley! And there are cards I haven't even uploaded yet! Whew! Anyway, for anyone wondering Paisley is definitely a safe bet!

Wow what beautiful cards! I will have lots of commenting to do later! (I'm at work now trying to avoid getting the Irish Superflu from my supervisor :P ) thank you for the kind words about my cards, lauraos! And I'm glad this thread is helpful to everyone! (less helpful to my budget, but oh well ).

I am really liking Rice Paper. burlap looks super, too, especially when stamped with chalk ink, but all I have are normal pigment and dye inks.

I see you found a few of mine already and had a question mark by some so here they are

I made the plaid by using the stripe in both directions.
Plaid card
This is the stripe on the green portions
Truck card
Stripes on the front of this
Tri fold
This is a stripe also in the yellow. I wondered why I got a comment on that card today!

Swirls on this which you found on the bear
Kite card
Bear card

I also have a victorian pattern but nothing that really shows it off in my gallery. Maybe I'll plan to use it so you can see it, we'll see how tomorrow goes.

Mel I think the one you asked if it was Mulberry paper is the abstract. I have a ton of these puppies and haven't even used all yet. Here are a few in my gallery:

Thanks so much for all the info you gave u and the time you took to do it! Now I just have to decided what to buy besides the C. Wire. Did you buy any of them and did you buy them mounted or UM? Thanks!

I have bought my two backgrounders unmounted, because they are less expensive than the mounted versions, they are cheaper to ship, and easier to store. I have just stuck the backgrounder on the back side of the poly hanging bag that came with the stamp, so that you can see the pattern on the insert through the bag on the front.

Lauraos, I will send you a pm on how to insert links to your cards! I think they are beautiful and need to be linked to!

Thanks Melanie. Let's give this linking a try.

Using the lace background:
Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I call it burlap but this one actually uses the canvas background:
Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I tried to figure out the cool way with the words but couldn't find the insert link button. I'll keep at it to try to figure it out.

This is other one I have that I haven't got a sample of. What a great way to use it Lisa, I've been a little at a loss with this one. I found it for about seventy five cents, good deal that I couldn't pass up! Thanks for the idea!

Well aren't you just sweet! And yes of course you can make beautiful cards, we all can! Here's the catch, most of my cards take 2-5 hours by the time I am *happy* with them. ;)

Here's another one with the weathered backgrounder. I just uploaded one using the B Monogram. It is still in pending and will link to it later.

Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

edited to add the Monogram. Pic is a little fuzzy, but the stamp set is wonderful. Got the whole set unmounted and just use face up on my table.
