Default Target deal!!

I got a 12 pack of sticky notes of all great colors...for $2.50
orange, lime, bright blue,...great to use with fishy friends, flowers,
and for that price it brightens up the dull weather blues.

I did a ramp for a hostess the other night (I had gotten a bunch of frames for free-but I can't remember how) Anyway, they went over really well. I used the shaped post-it notes from Target from a while ago so they were sunglasses (in the $ spot-3/$1) and matched the bg b/c she loves the beach. Anyway-so fast and easy, and an easy way to show the "giftiness" of stamps.

I will have to head to Target!!!!

Yes - those post it ramps are a HUGE hit at workshops. Did them at my workshop Saturday, and EVERYONE loved them! I think those teachers are using me. . . Just about everything we've done together has ended up being done as mom/dad gifts! They will do the ramps for Mother's day - stamped, then add kid's wallet sized pic, add a post it pad, and viola! Instant gift!

The moms & dads are *still* talking about the Christmas ornaments two of the kinder teachers did with the floating image! We did them at a workshop ~ fast forward a month, and all the kids' heads were floating in the clear glass balls. Lots of teary eyed mommies!

Isn't this just the BEST addiction . . .er. . .obsession. . .errrrr hobby?

OK, someone tell us how to make these! I looked at the gallery and that is toooooooo cute! I am a teacher and it would be great for my kids to make as gifts! Valentine would be a good time for them to make them for parents! So I need instructions!

Thanks!

A post it note ramp is made from one of those cheap acrylic picture frames. They are turned upside down, have a stamped image put in where the photo would go and then you stick a post-it note pad on the front.

Here are 2 links from billsbrowneyedgirl's gallery. one is the front view, the other is a side view. I found them most helpful when I first heard of them.

Hope that helps!

Default Really cute project

I think this is the "acrylix picture holder", that can be use like a mini-calendar holder. She turned it up side down, and attached a mini-post-it note pad. The size she used was like 2x4, you can find them at Michaels.

Thanks for the info. I made a few different types of holders and when the post-its are cheap, they make great door prizes and hostess gifts!!

You can get them at Walmart for under $1. They also have them at the different dollar stores, Target, etc. Cheap.

Okay so here's a silly question...After the post-it's are all used up you just stick on another pad right?

Yep, you just stick another pad on the front. If your stamped part is seasonal, you can change that, too.

If you are thinking of making it as a gift, you could even pre-make seasonal inserts, storing them behind each other in the frame. Just make sure the recipient knows they are there.
