I didn't think that I was going to be able to post this challenge this morning. A baby, a computer and a 15yo with hot chocolate don't mix! My keyboard is pooched but luckily we found an old one in the basement.
This week's Way's to Use It challenge is to find ways to use mulberry paper in your work. If you don't have any...I do believe there is a way to make some from dryer sheets?
My inspiration for this challenge was a card from one of the past couple WT challenges. Queenoe used mulberry paper to make some flowers. Here is her card...
Please remember to put WT60 in your keywords section. If you are adding multiple things to your section...put a comma between them. The new upgrades need this. Please post a link back here as well. No time limits, no contests, just have fun! Also no uploads on Sundays!
Oh no! lol Glad you found another keyboard! hmmm Mulberry, maybe that's what i need to add to the color challenge i'm having problems with. Thanks for challenge Julia!
Wonderful, I have tons. Infact I could probably supply all of you! Wouldn't you know, the last few cards I've made even had Mulberry on them. Now to find time after work to make another!
Location: Oklahoma...State (OSU) We love 'em even when they lose, and we're never disappointed!

The dryer sheet technique was actually a technique challenge a little while back. Here's the link to pics and instructions. It is a really cool technique, teh results are awesome!
Have a doctor's appt. soon but get to play when I get home....This is a bonus I'm usually at work so I can't post until later for these challenges! I've got lots of mulberry to play with....can't wait!

ok, DH rebooted our computer, his laptop, reset the cable modem, and the wireless thingy! Got everything working again, spent two seconds checking his email, then left for work! By the time I got back on the challenge was already posted. Doesn't he know he's cutting into my s/talking time?
no mulberry paper here, guess I'll be playing with dryer sheets as soon as the next load is done...Julia, you must have known that Thurs. is laundry day for me!
This is almost funny! I have a ton of this stuff & never use it. My sister loves it, so I told her I'd give it to her. Lucky me... I haven't seen her in a while, so I haven't done that yet. But I also think I'd like to see how the dryer sheets work for this. Might have to make 2 cards or a combo.
Aaaahh! ok, so I tried to color my dryer sheet in a baggie with a reinker. The color was blotchy, so I thought maybe the dryer sheet should be damp, so the ink could spread more evenly. Sooo, I added a few drops of water to the baggie & tried again. The color was even, but very pale (watered down, duh!). So I added another drop from the reinker. Beautiful color, but by now I have a sopping wet dryer sheet! How to fix that? Heat gun should dry it right out! ....Long story short, I stopped when I saw smoke! Oh, well, off to try again!

I never use it either which makes it a really good challenge for me too! I have an extra little guy here today so I won't get any stamping done until tonight...hope I can actually find my mulberry by then.
I Love This Challenge! I love mulberry paper! But guess what? I'm completely out...
I've been meaning to get some and just keep forgetting. I did do one with a dryer sheet once. Here it is...
OK, after the fiasco earlier, I decided just to use the first sheet I tried to dye that I thought was too light. I also combined this with Monday's challenge to use bleach - lovin' that! Not Quite Navy bleaches to Pale Plum - that was a surprise!
