How can I change my gallery view to thumbnails?

I seem to get one line per posted gallery photo - does anyone know how to change it to be as many as I can per page and in order of newest first? I used to view it that way and somehow it changed to each line showing stats and the photo to the left - just can't figure it out. THANKS! :???:

There should be a series of pulldowns where you can change this option -- can't remember whether it's across the top or the bottom.
