Check out this cool technique: Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers Can everyone please upload their gorgeous creations of this technique to the Technique Spotlight Gallery for Dazzling Diamond Dust? It's at the bottom of the alpha listing, after the "W's" when you are choosing your gallery to upload to. Then we'll have a wonderful gallery to showcase this awesome technique . . . thanks!

Oh, cool, you posted early, Beth. I haven't tried this tech. yet. I don't have irridescent ice, but have heard that you can mix clear ep & dazzling diamonds. Does anyone know what ratio works?
You're so kind to post this now... you read my mind!!!! Thanks Beth!
BTW does anyone know...... what is that cute stamp set Beate is using in this example??

I don't know anything about Chuck, but I'm so glad you picked this technique! I have Iridescent Ice ep on order, but in the past I have used DD and clear ep. I tend to overheat it though, it doesn't sparkle as much when I do. I hope the II EP works better for me.
I'm going to try and get to this challenge early tomorrow morning! I think it will go great with the Prima's ways to use it challenge!
Here's one from my gallery and I used regular cardstock. I don't think it allows the diamond effect to show up as well as glossy would but I wasn't smart enough to read all the directions when I tried the technique. On Regular Cardstock
Also for anyone that has a Micheal's near by, they do have a irredescent ice look alike that works just as well, here is what I posted in another thread:
I did get some Stampendous embossing powder that is called Kaleidoscope, and it is a very similar match for Irridecent Ice. The one I got from Micheal's is a 1 oz jar and I used a coupon. I find that I can not tell the difference when it is on the card. Now, I do have both of these, and the stampendous equivilant of Hologram Highlights as well. As always these are just my opinions. I had a hard time finding the Kaleidoscope when this one ran low. One thing I noticed, it is harder to tell with the Kaleidoscope when it is heated ok. I have burned it more then once, with the SU one you can definately tell when it is heated and set.

I just did a search and Julia S uses 50-50 ratio. Give it a try and report back.
I do???? Maybe it was julia s (all small letters)
Anyways...I love this technique so it will be lots of fun. I have also done it with dazzling diamonds and the heat and stick powder and just on whisper white cardstock instead of the glossy. Wish I'd checked this thread last night!!
I love this technique.....one of my faves!!! I'll try to get something in but I'm kinda obsessed with checking out the galleries of some of the retirees that I may want to get
I used the kalidescope EP though I don't know how well it shows up in the scan. Also, in honor of the newly posted 2006 retirement list, I dusted off my Bug Builders set which retired last year. Dusted Retired Bugs
Ahhh, that's why there were a lot of Dazzling Diamond Dust cards in the gallery approval queue this morning! ;) Great challenge, Beth -- I'd love to try it again this week!
