I love shiny, glittery and sparkly things, therefore, I love the Christmas season! Make a card that's full of shine and sparkle! The more glitter the better! One option: a SCS tutorial where you use an old dryer sheet and glitter to create a frosted effect: Dryer Sheet Technique Tutorial - Splitcoaststampers
You do not have to use the Dryer Sheet tutorial, but your challenge is to use lots of glitter on your card! You, too, will be sparkling when you're done with this card!
Hugs, Gracie

I made this card with as much glitter paper as would allow for this design and the best part was that this paper doesn't shed. So sparkle it will with no mess. Fun, fun, fun
What a fun challenge! I love sparkle and shine so this was a joyful creation for me. I used an unmarked die from my collection for Santa on his way, adding a foil panel behind it. Lower half is a grey snowflake patterned tissue layer with die cut evergreens and an oversized holly and berries combo. Here's Santa's on his way

I finally got a card done for this technique. I did do the dryer sheet technique. It did not come out like I thought it would. I will say I have glitter every where on me, my poodle, and all over my craftroom floor including the kitchen. I think that is why when I found stickles I stopped using glitter.🤣🤣🤣🤣 call us the glitter house today.🤣🤣
hey Gracie - any suggestions of the best way to find and clean up all the little pieces of glitter? I'm really not a fan of the stuff, but I put some on my card via Iridescent Ice embossing powder.

Years ago, I used to used dryer sheets until I heard that it eventually slows down the efficiency of the dryer, from the residue that builds up in the lint trap. Have a baggie of them from the 90's and am really happy to have a way to use them. Thanks, Gracie! Learned a lot.
I know you wanted LOTS of sparkle....my card is more semi-sparkle. I have an aversion to loose glitter and the mess it makes....both for me, the card maker, and those who receive such festive cards(get the vacuum) I enjoyed your challenge however. Thanks.

I am not gonna lie. This card was my 3rd different attempt to complete this challenge. The first two did not work out like they were in my head...ha ha ha. That is gonna happen sometimes!
This was my first try with the dryer sheet technique (luckily, we always seem to have a bunch of used ones around the house). Fun technique. Here is my card.
Glitter is EVIL! Besides being a micro-plastic polluter, it's insidious and pervasive. I had to vacuum and take a shower after making this one. Coolest
Love ai images! This one was featured during SSS's stamptember promotion.
