Hello everyone! Thanks so much for your patience this month! My dad is home from the hospital. He'll be getting a new biventricular pacemaker at some point. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers!

So, it was actually cooler here today! Now I'm in the mood for Fall! How about you?

I actually needed to make a card for a stencil company this month, so I picked this acorn stencil and decided to glitter it up with some gold embossing powder. Stencil is from A Colorful Life Designs and the embossing powder is from Brutus Monroe - Gilded.

I picked out the natural cream cardstock from my SU stash and decided to just keep with the cream for the leaves. On the cream rectangle layer I embossed gold around the edges....boy it looks pretty in person. I used my MISTI on the inside sentiment and also on the small tag from The Greetery. I also used the magnetic properties of the base to keep my stencil in place. Glad I thought of that!

Your challenge for this shortened month is to simply make an autumn themed project. Autumn colors, autumn images or whatever autumn means for you.

I don't think SCS likes me.  This is the second time I've had troubles loading pictures.  I attached it as a file, hopefully you can see that at the end of the original post.

Beautiful card!  MISTI Monday, SCS has been acting up for several days and it isn't liking a lot of people.  It isn't you!!

So thankful your Dad is home and will be getting a new pacemaker at some point.

Here is a Fall Card. I used my MISTI to help me line up the tape for the middle rectangle, and also to restamp the leaves and sentiment with VersaMark ink to clear heat emboss.

Yesterday

I used my Mini MISTI to stamp the main image several times...until I got a good impression. The stamp set is photopolymer and for some reason, these stamps do not always stamp well. Without this MISTI I would still be throwing away a lot of paper. Thanks for Looking!

I have several entries since I wanted to try an assembly line design with fall leaves. The Misti was perfect for that - I laid out the stamps and used different inky techniques.

This is my last card for this month. I used my MISTI to restamp my sentiment in VersaMark so I could heat emboss it in clear. I also used it to stamp the leaves.

Don't take it personal...SCS has been having trouble but it isn't that someone isn't working on it!  Upgrades are known to cause issues...

This is when a plug for Fan Club Membership needs to be made!
